I was having an awful day
I was having an awful day. I had rain in my hair, my spirit was feeling beaten and down. I entered go outdoors with the hope of buying a tent for my dog. The second I stepped foot inside my whole mood lifted. I was greeted by the wonderful Stacey. She was excellent, really helped me find the perfect fit for my dog Frank. She took interest in my day, and really made me feel like a king. Employee of the year, Frank is going to be so happy.

Thank you to Stacey it was actually really nice to be greeted by a smile when I walk in shop for once she was kind she answered all my questions and couldn’t help me more with showing me the best items I needed for the budget I have STACEY IS AMAZING and is definitely in need of a rase/permotion!!!!

I went into the St Helens store today…
I went into the St Helens store today looking for some new t shirts and boots. Got approached by a lovely lady called Stacey. She was very helpful with what I was looking and for what colours I was most interested in. I will definitely be coming back to this store in the near future.

Excellent customer service
Had few issues with ordering and paying for some walking boots with another northwest branch. Found a price match online. Customer service helpline unable to help me or the branch where I purchased the boots. Contacted St Helens store as nearest store to me. Sorted and resolved price match instantly. Megan and Stacey were outstanding, helpful, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Without them this issue would not have been resolved. Thank you, will return to your store again. Highly recommend.

Excellent Experience
We went into the Go Outdoors store to get 1 pair of hiking/walking shoes. During our visit we found such amazing discounts that we bought 2 pairs of shoes, 2 backpacks, a compass and binoculars! We got even more money off with our Go Outdoors card. Owen and his colleague were super-helpful and were on hand to give advice on our purchases - including the difference between the binoculars!! Thank you!!!

Discount card Con!!
Discount card wizardry ?? Terribly miss leading, let me get this right? you have to buy a card only to get the same price as other on line retailers are charging? , so in my case I was told to buy a discount card in order to get discounted off the RRP, so with out further adoo my good old friend Google did a little checking on line, oh look Google replied, it would seem I was paying more for the walking boots than other on line retailers, even with the fabulous discount card .. Decided to Walk out the store feeling somewhat bewildered , happy to say I purchased online far cheaper and no discount card payment required... I must admit though it's business clever hocus pocus and it's certainly fooling everyone...it definitely makes oneself believe if you buy their discount card your getting a good deal!! Sadly though it's a discount card that is useless, that being said I'm sure it does generally make them a lot of financial profit, !! ... Signing off Harry Potter hogwarts...

I am sorry to hear that you appear to find our membership card benefits misleading.
We offer the membership at £5 per year and the benefits include to our membership card holders exclusive offers and promotions.
We'll also keep membership card holders up to date with the newest, best and cheapest products for anything outdoors along with members price savings which can be anything up to 50% off retail price.
There is also the price match plus where if you find anything online or in another store within 7 days of your purchase we will match it and may also beat it by 10%.

I dissatisfied had to go in to the shop to find out…
I had to go in to the shop to find out we’re my order was on the Thursday the 9 I place the order in on the 1st of August , when I got to the shop the two assistants were very helpful and called go-out door customer service support only to be told my order had been lost , I am absolutely furious and disappointed with the service and the way this was handled , I wasn’t notified about this I only found out about is because I went to the shop. I wouldn’t order again online.

I wanted new walking boots
I went in asked where the walking boots were. A young man directed me to them. Found the Peter Storm ones I wanted, asked for my size to try. They were great. Out walking today great comfort. Bought some new socks whilst there. Bought my Go Outdoors discount card. In and out in 15mins
