I’m excited to share that I passed my CompTIA Security+ exam yesterday! I am incredibly grateful for the tools, resources, and support that helped me reach this milestone. The study materials, guidance, and encouragement I received throughout the process made a huge difference in my preparation and confidence. I truly appreciate the assistance that helped me achieve this goal. This accomplishment means a lot to me, and I look forward to continuing my journey in cybersecurity

This program has absolutely helped build my confidence and improve my resume. The coaching calls provided valuable guidance and helped me become more confident in my career progression and job search. I also found a lot of motivation in hearing the success stories from other students. Overall, it's been a great experience, and I appreciate the support and knowledge shared throughout the program.

I've been going through GovTech Academy for over 5 months. I'm transitioning into the IT field, and it has been a struggle for me. However, I'm making some good progress, which is mostly thanks to the regular check-ins I had with Khristal, Jazzmin, and Janine. These check-ins helped me stay focused, accountable, and most importantly, not give up, even when I was falling behind my targeted goals. They did a great job, helping me reschedule my goals and stay positive.

The staff is always there to help. When ever I have a concern, Janine is usually able to respond within the same day, which has been great whenever I've been lost or confused by something in the curriculum. This was especially true during the first few days of the program, where i really didn't understand the website's layout and features.

The resources GovTech has available to it's students are a bit overwhelming, but they do a good job breaking it down and helping you prioritize what to focus on. A module I found very useful was about optimizing one's daily schedule to reduce distractions and actually getting work done. Something I'm still struggling with, but the tips in the video are helping.

Now adding to the list of resources, GovTech has the weekly live events, guest speaker live events, the video lessons, labs, articles, and the community group chat, it is clear that GovTech is doing lot for it's students, including myself, increasing their chances to succeed.

I first came across Symone Beez and the GovTech community about two years ago when I was honestly feeling lost career-wise and unsure about my direction. At the time, I was trying to figure out how to level up professionally, increase my income, and break into a more stable and meaningful career path, but I didn’t really have a roadmap.

Watching Symone’s content completely changed the trajectory of my life.

Through her guidance on certifications, resume building, LinkedIn optimization, networking, and understanding the government contracting space, I was able to start moving with purpose instead of just guessing my way through my career. I took the advice seriously and began applying it step by step.

In less than a year, I went from making around $17,000 a year to landing a role making approximately $58,000 annually. More importantly, I finally had a clear vision for where I wanted to take my career and my life.

Because of the information and preparation I received from the GovTech community, I was also able to navigate the security clearance process confidently and efficiently. I completed my SF-86 quickly, stayed organized throughout the investigation process, and understood what was expected every step of the way.

I recently obtained my Secret clearance, which is a milestone I’m extremely proud of, and I genuinely believe I would not have been as prepared for this journey without the knowledge, encouragement, and direction I gained from Symone Beez and the GovTech community.

Now that I’ve reached this point, I feel like this is only the beginning. The next step is going to be even bigger, and for the first time in a long time, I truly feel like I have direction, momentum, and a long-term plan for my future.

I would absolutely recommend the GovTech community to anyone interested in government contracting, cybersecurity, clearances, or building a better future for themselves professionally.

Program was super simple and straight to it. Everything is about action and efficiency. Symone and the team made it all possible with giving the blueprint and we're just getting started!

It’s been a month since I joined the GovTech Academy, and I’ve really been enjoying the experience so far! I’ve learned so much from all of the coaches we have access to through the program.

I recently received my updated resumes tailored to the specific jobs I’m targeting, and it saved me a lot of time having professionally formatted versions created for those roles. I’m already applying for cybersecurity positions that align with my experience, and I feel like I’m making great progress in the program so far.

I’m also looking forward to the mock interviews in the upcoming weeks, which will help prepare me once I start landing interview opportunities

I received great help and direction with the program. Alec helped me stay on track in getting my security+ and gave me the motivation I needed! The roadmap and guidance the program provides is perfect!

Helping me restructure my resume to be more ATS readable was huge in my understanding how companies filter candidates and how some qualified candidates are overlooked. I also liked that they applied to jobs for me on top of what I was applying to. Being able to talk 1:1 to coaches definitely help me focus and personalize what I got out of the process.

My experience with GovTech Academy has been great due to the concern of the instructors, coaches and counselors have shown in seeing that I am successful with this program. They reach out and make sure I am on task with my training and offer assistance to help me stay on track. They have provided help with understanding my course material, writing my resume and producing my LinkedIn profile.
Because of their concern I now have my foot in the door having acquired a position as a Help Desk Support Technician that will lead to my goal of a Cybersecurity Analyst with AI certification and experience.

I spent the past 10 plus working as an IT professional in my last position. GovTech Academy open my eyes to another world of IT I didn't know about. I like the website layout, process, and service provided to reach out and check in. I'll definitely recommend GovTech Academy to family and friends. Please continue with this great service.

Govtech’s program has been a great experience for me helping build a great foundation to start studying for my security+, the on the go training method has been helpful, also check-ins and messages from team members on feed back has been greatly appreciated

I joined the program to get some assistance and structure with passing the CompTIA Security+ exam as well as job application and interview help. The program provided me with immensely helpful study materials including books, practice exams, live content review calls, instructional videos, and links I'd never heard of for mass practice questions. To top it all off, I got a voucher for the test, so I didn't have to pay for it. Now having my certification, I'm using more of their resources to begin building out my resume and tailoring my LinkedIn so I can get interviews and ultimately a job. The program has been amazing thus far and there's still more in store for me.

It is an amazing program, beautiful community that has inspired me to go out and accomplish my goals in the tech world and in my world!

GovTech Academy is great at providing a solid blueprint on how to prep yourself for a gov tech role. It made the both the field and CompTia sec+ exam feel more attainable. I knew the exact material I could use to help me study and passed it on my first try. I also feel confident with the next steps such as the resume and where I can go to apply. I especially like having a community that cheers you on and provides insight into their journey.

It is great to find a group of people that are all about encouraging me to be successful. They supported me on my GovTech journey and shared with me steps to achieve success. It is because I chose GovTech Academy that I am CompTIA Security+ Certified. I will recommend this program to everyone I meet!! Five stars!!!!!
