If you give a company nearly three weeks to get fresh brownies to a recipient you would expect them to be there on time and not five days later. After all, the vendor chose the dispatch date, not me!

The best advice I can give is not to use this company. The phone is never picked up, the emails eventually bounce. You cannot get hold of them.

Good website

Good website, quickly processed and confirmed, order received very quickly.
I love them, my wife not so keen, so all the more for me.
Can't wait to try one warm.

The brownies are ok but customer…

The brownies are ok but customer service is non existence . I tried many times to call the number on their website without success. Sent 3 emails with a question and finally received one reply just confirming my order and not answering my question. The brownies was for a friend and was received a day later than the date given. Order was placed 16th December and delivered on 9th January.

Disappointing

Delivery took 4 days , so not fresh on arrival . No response to my emails . Also brownies much smaller now than my previous orders. Taste not as good either, just too sweet and generally not as nice .

Yummy

Had a box of gluten free brownies for my birthday chocolate orange flavor, absolutely gorgeous well packaged and a littel card inside from my sister, would highly recommend

Take your money but don't care if the product arrives or not.

I don't normally post reviews, but I feel that this is important to share. I have no idea whether these brownies taste "as exquisite as the area they come from" as they were delivered without my knowledge and hidden by the courier behind a bin.
When I found them 12 days later, I contacted the company to explain the issue and they replied without compassion. The response was basically "its the senders fault". There was no apology or understanding.
They also said that I should have let them know within 7 days despite only finding the brownies 12 days after delivery. Obviously, as these fresh brownies have been out in the wind and rain and variable temperatures, I am not keen to eat them. The packaging had a tiny (size 8 font) note to say that there were perishable items, which was clearly easily ignored by the courier. They take no responsibility in ensuring the product arrives safely at its intended destination nor do they care if it doesn't.
Gower Cottage Brownies markets itself as a local cottage company, perfect for sending "The best surprise delivery ever Chocolate brownie temptation delivered by courier from Wales directly to your door" but the customer service is shows no care for the customer. How you can advertise as a surprise and then have such a terrible delivery service (see previous reviews) is beyond me.
Be aware, if you are sending these as a gift and the courier chooses not to deliver to the door, it is your fault and your money will be wasted.

Brilliant !!!

I had a gift of brownies for my birthday sent over to Ireland . Arrived on time with perfect packaging and were delicious.
Highly recommend and hope to receive again as scrumptious and tasty !!

Non receipt of paid for birthday brownies

Had notification from delivery company that package was delivered but not sure where they were delivered to as definitely did not receive them. Photo taken of delivery was just a white wall. Contacted Kate who said she would ask the delivery company to try delivery again that day - nothing received. I chased again and was told they’d be delivered the next day - they weren’t! Chased again and received no response. Shocking.

Absolutely a joke of a company

Absolutely a joke of a company. They don’t pick up calls, will not call back. Emails get rejected. Finally Jade email but absolutely useless. Lost brownies and no one answers you emails or calls…, busy baking.
Don’t bother ordering you can get better.

Great brownies!

Was initially concerned about some reviews regarding delivery but after ringing and speaking to Jade I was assured they were now using a different courier and there wouldn’t be a problem. True to her word my order for 10 slabs of the original flavour brownies for my daughter’s wedding was dealt with very efficiently. Excellent communication throughout and the order arrived in perfect condition on the specified day. Very well received by all wedding guests and had one leftover slab which froze well too. Highly recommend!

Very dissatisfied with this company

I ordered brownies for a friend when they arrived the box was broken open the brownies flat as pancakes all mushed into one flat piece I was horrified and sent an email with pictures to “Kate”no reply tried phoning no answer I stupidly ordered another lot because I couldn’t give the ones I’d received as a gift. The new ones came again damaged not quite as bad as the first lot but again flat and looked nothing like brownies more like a soggy lump. I will not be wasting my money or disappointing friends and family gifting these again and as for “Kate” you need to improve radically your customer service reply to emails or answer your phone it’s about customers you know not Money.

Disappointed

I've ordered these brownies so many times; as gifts and for my own family. Today two boxes arrived and I'm shocked at the reduction in the product. Brownies are much smaller and now don't fit the same size box. We just feel a little ripped off. Would have preferred they increased the price slightly rather than just present a box with so much space in it, it's an embarrassing present. Time to look elsewhere as the taste is comparable with others

The best brownies we have tasted- we were delivered these to our office and everyone has said they are the best tasting brownies we have ever eaten. Thank you and would highly recommend

Very disappointed with the service

Very disappointed with the service. I ordered £65 worth of original, vegan and gluten free brownies for a special party on a Saturday afternoon. As specified on the website I ordered 1 to 2 days before the event. In fact on a Wednesday for delivery Friday - the event being Saturday pm. DPD didn’t deliver until Sunday late afternoon by which time all the guests had left. I contacted Gower brownies to ask if I could return as no longer any use and was told no and no refund. I now have £65 of brownies and no use for them. Also I have no freezer to store and they are already 5 days made.
I was very disappointed with customer care as it took 4 emails to get a response and no satisfactory resolution. I won’t be buying again.

Absolutely delicious!

Received a box of these delicious brownies as a surprise Birthday gift. They were absolutely gorgeous! Served warm, with fresh double cream and a nice hot mug of coffee … sheer heaven! I may just have to buy more of these brownies, as an indulgent treat for myself!!

Appalling Customer Service

Simple enough (or so I thought) ordered brownies as a thank you gift to be delivered on a specific date. Parcel didn't show up (albeit no their fault - DPD electric van "useless" service) delivered day after to wrong address 20 doors down. Emailed customer service who expected the recipient to go looking for these brownies - photo showed a picture of the street, not even the house or person who received them either! Disgusting customer service, delivery issues are their issue NOT THE CUSTOMERS!! Will go through PayPal for refund. Will never use or recommend them ever again!

Fabulous - you will love them!

Stunning quality, and fabulous taste and texture - mmmmmmm, delicious!! We ordered the coffee and walnut brownies and they didn't last long! Gr8 packaging and they arrived safe and sound :-)
