Great Electric Moped!

Purchased my electric moped (Supersoco TSx) from Green Mopeds a while back. Bike was delivered by the boss who was very courteous. It was a great bike and I had great fun with it. I hadn't been on a moped for 30 or so years, but once I got my feet off the ground and onto the pedals I had a Super time! Got a few wows! From bystanders! I eventually sold it to someone from Lithuania, due to the Cost of Living Crisis. I would definitely buy this bike again, if and when I am able. A great bike and professional service. Thank you.

The place to go for electric motorcycles in London

Green-mopeds and Jeremy have been great. I bought a Super Soco TCMax and I absolutely love it. Great learner bike. Jeremy was extremely helpful when trying to make a purchase decision, with a really quick and simple test ride process. Have been back multiple times for routine service and even a part replacement. Wouldn't go anywhere else for an electric motorcycle in London.

Amazing dealer

Just wanted to say thanks to Jeremy. The lexmoto cypher I brought has been great so far. Jeremy has answered all questions and still has been helpful after the purchase and after the delivery of my bike. Green mopeds is a very trustworthy dealer and I will be using them in future when I upgrade and recommending them to friends and family. Keep doing what you do.

I purchased a Voge ER10 and love it

I purchased a Voge ER10 from Green-mopeds as my first electric motorbike.

Jeremy explained all the pros and cons of the bike vs the competition and let me have a test-ride before buying. His mechanic who I think was called Wade showed me all over the bike as part of the handover so that I knew what controls did what.

Ive had no issues with the bike and have had it serviced since by them which was done while I waited. I was keen to see what they did as part of the service and they were happy for me to watch to understand what was covered.

Am more than happy to recommend them.

Nothing but decent, honest advice & support

I was buying my first electric moped and i called Green-Mopeds for some advice. After discussing the options I had and providing clear and honest advice about the options, to my surprise Jeremy volenteered that I looked at the Trust Pilot review left before this one.

He explained what had happened over 1 year ago and im not sure there are too many companies that would purposely direct potential customers to look at negative reviews about them so that i had a real sense of what people have experienced. Normally people would try and hide that. In doing so, he actually gave me more confidence that I was making the right decision not only about the bike i was purchasing but dealing with Green-Mopeds in general.

Its interesting that there has only been one review on Trust Pilot but many many more on Google which are overwhelmingly positive.

To date my bike has performed faultlessly and have absolutely no complaints and it must be said, that even the other negative reviews are more about expectations than actual problems.

I have no qualms in recommending them.

Dangerous - Avoid Avoid Avoid

I purchased a SuperSoco CuX electric moped from green-mopeds.com and my experience from the very beginning has been nothing short of alarming.

Upon receiving my moped, I was dismayed to find it defective and potentially life-threatening. Astonishingly, the dealer only has three primary assembly tasks, and they botched them. The handlebars and front wheel spindle, vital components for safe operation, hadn't been appropriately tightened. Within days, the handlebars began to shift alarmingly. If this had continued unchecked, a jammed bolt could have locked the forks, leading to a severe, even catastrophic accident.

Their response to this severe oversight? A casual recommendation for a DIY fix, which is a far cry from the professional service one expects when purchasing a brand-new vehicle.

Another glaring oversight was the cross-threaded fixing on the front panel - leaving it rattling. While not inherently dangerous, it was a testament to the careless assembly and disregard for quality assurance.

In the year that I've owned this moped, it's been a cascade of issues: intermittent power cutouts, persistent battery error lights, unpredictable power delivery, and a disconcerting decrease in battery range. Annoyingly, a quarter of this time, the bike was with either the manufacturer or green-mopeds.com for repairs.

After a recent three-week stay with green-mopeds, the moped was returned with a faulty front brake, the very problem I'd flagged. It's clear they hadn't thoroughly inspected or tested the vehicle despite my very precise description of the problem. Despite this extended repair time, they managed to rectify only one of the multiple issues I reported.

Throughout this tumultuous year, the moped has never been in perfect working order. When I sought a full refund, their offer was paltry - a mere half of its original value after only a year and 2,000 miles. If we were to base the bike's life expectancy on this valuation, it suggests a laughable lifespan of 2 years and 4,000 miles.

I urge potential customers to consider their safety and peace of mind. Purchasing from green-mopeds.com was an exercise in frustration, disappointment, and genuine concern for my well-being. Their dismissive stance on grave safety issues and their consistent inability to rectify problems is not only unprofessional but dangerously negligent.

UPDATE:
To address the points - excuse me if I didn't want to trust you after the initial dangerous situation - which happened at maybe 100 miles - I could have been dead by 300 miles.

If you hadn't ruined my trust from day one, the bike would have been back with you within a couple of months. Then this would be a very different conversation.

I contacted the manufacturer about the other faults because I didn't trust you, with good reason - I intended to never let you touch the bike again. The manufacturer offered to fix some faults and do the 300 miles service, I thought this the safer option.

The initial improvements in performance are gone, as I told you on the phone - they lasted through 4 charge cycles. The ever-decreasing range is still decreasing - I estimate 1 month before it won't have the range to do the journey I bought it for.
As for the brakes here is the text from the email I sent:

The front brake master cylinder doesn’t hold pressure - hold the front brake on and the lever gradually moves towards the handlebar.

In a phone call the other day - they said they didn't test for that. You need this to follow anything slow down a hill - currently you have about 25 seconds before the brakes run out.

I'll also point out that after I contacted you on 5th July, you just left me hanging until I contacted you again late August.

UPDATE 2:
Don't worry vmoto and super soco are both in my sights.
I haven't had any concrete offer of a replacement, what how old, what warranty etc.

UPDATE 3:
Green Mopeds - namely Jeremy Boorer have now washed their hands of the whole situation. They are refusing to answer any of the questions I still have so I'll ask them here, so they can leave them unanswered publicly.

Are you saying that as a small company - you can't afford safety? The new employee excuse doesn’t wash for me. If you have someone new and aren’t certain they are competent you should have procedures in place to make sure they can’t screw up.

Are you saying that sending my bike back with a faulty front brake - saying you've tested it is OK or safe? I think most people reading this would consider that if you put your foot on the brake of your car and the pedal slowly sank towards the floor - that is the brake NOT working. Is this just ANOTHER anomaly by ANOTHER rouge mechanic?
Are you saying that given the valuation that the normal, expected life of this bike is 2 years and 4k miles. If so you kept that very quiet until you had my money.

Thanks for the feedback and apologies we could not serve you better this time.

To put our side of the story. You purchased your bike from us 09/22.

At that time we had a new mechanic. Although he appeared competent at the time, it turned out he was not up to the standard we expect and so let him go. When you are running a small business, it is not always possible to check everything that your staff do and neither should you have to but we apoplgise for this.

It should also be noted, that the primary reason for a 300 mile service was to check these things. We were not asked to do so.

Also we did not hear about these issues till July this year (11 months after the sale), after the customer had been dealing direct with Vmoto, so it is unjustified to hold us responsilble entirely for this experience. Apparently the bike had been back to them twice before we got to hear about the issues with the power loss and brakes. If the importer could not fix them, then its unlikely a dealer could either. We therefore reject us being dismissive if we were not involved in the two instances the bike went back to Vmoto.

In addition, the issue of power loss was intermittent and hence these are not easy issues to solve which is shown by the fact that Vmoto had tried twice to solve them. They then gave us another option to try which we did but it seems its still intermittent. In fact the customer had initially said it had improved.

As for the brakes, we did not experience the issue now mentioned as we did test ride the bike before returning it.

Regareding the "paltry" refund. Rightly or wrongly the amount offered was following the guidelines of the Consumer Credit Act which was rejected. We also offered a new bike, which was ALSO rejected.

The last position was that the customer will continue using it and will continue to get it fixed. We will add that this vehicle has been sold since 2008 and 1000s of this model have been brought and is built to EU standards.

For anyone else considering purchasing, you might like to look at our Google Review where you will see over 90% 4 or 5* and will give a more balanced opinion of what others think in the round. No company is perfect but we strive to do our best in a challenging environment.

As for sending 15 tweets in to our twitter account yesterday, some might argue that that is immature but we will let others judge.

UPDATE 2:

It is still correct to state that you should be directing some of your clear frustration at Vmoto.

Why arent you leaving them a review?

UPDATE 3:

Gosh. Not true again.

To cover off the brake issue. You told us the brakes were not holding pressue. We tested the brakes and they were deemed to be good in terms of pressue and we test rode the bike. AFTER we returned the bike, you then told us the specific scenario in which you noticed this which was riding the bike down a long hill. This in actual fact is called Brake Fade. It can be seen as an issue in all sorts of vehicles. Feel free to Google it. The common solution is actually rider behaviour and is not necessarily a fault with a vehicle. It is due to the brakes heating up. You could argue that that means the brakes are not the best quality and of course a £2000 Chinese moped is not a BMW but thats the choice people make when buying products.

As for this. "The new employee excuse doesn’t wash for me". The implication of this is that we are not telling the truth. When customers start making unsubstantiated and unproven claims against a company then they will start losing all sorts of support and goodwill which Vmoto have even said, they have provided. Our company does not have to explain or justify anything to do with how we hire, fire or train our staff. But for those with a more open mind, you should know that our current mechanic, has attended specific electric 2 wheeled training on Vmoto, Silence, Talaria, Lveng, Lexmoto and Voge. Please note, the other importers do not offer specific training.
