I've purchased 2 phones
I've purchased 2 phones. 1st was a replacement for my Samsung Note 10 plus limited edition star wars. I was devastated when my daughter spilt a beer over my original one and I found it had the tiniest crack in the camera lenses. The beer managed to find its way in.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the only one left anywhere was at greengadgets and cheaper than any of the other original models.
The phone has run perfectly for another 2 years and the only issue is the battery life is not as good as my original, not terrible but definitely needing to be charged earlier in the day.
The phone is a 2019 model and nearly 7 years later I am ready to upgrade and retire it to its collectors box.
Earlier this year I purchased an IPhone Pro Max 14. I haven't used Apple for 13 years and I don't really like them, however, I decided to give it a go for content creation. Using the IPhone for content and my Note 10 for everyday.
The Iphone was perfect until it started to get intermittent issues with the touch screen in the top left corner where I would have to press around the area to get it to work. It wouldn't actually work directly pressing the place I should be pressing. This only occurred once or twice a day but it was rather annoying.
I was asked to reset the phone and replicate the issue and if it did occur again, video and email them so they could see it. This was done and this entire process from emailing with the issue, tech support and resolving it was 2 days.
I've now arranged a refund so I can purchase the S24 Ultra as I have found the Iphone frustrating and I have since found out the moving between Apple and Android is easier than it used to be. Had the Iphone not had this issue, this option would not have been available to me. I was actually expecting to just have the phone replaced, so I was pleasantly surprised that they informed me this was an option.
Now the slow bit occurs, I will need to purchase a new phone and risk not getting a refund.
I don't believe this will be an issue as the phone is in a quadlock case, which if you use one, is extremely rugged. I have already checked it over and there is no scratches that were not there before, which were very minor, and no cracks in the glass. I will photograph and video the phone moments before packing the phone and sealing it in the postage bag and then email that to the company email address.
I estimate a 2 week turn around from express post from Perth to Eastern States, check over phone and refund of money.
So in total between purchasing the new phone and sending the Iphone back I think the process will be about 3 to 4 weeks.
I have been very happy with greengadgets products and service. Having read other reviews from here and other refurbished companies I am taking precautions with regards to send the phone back under warranty. However, considering how helpful and professional they have been, I am not expecting any issues.
I understand people have had problems with refurbished products, but that is what can happen with any second hand product.
Hopefully this long review does give a honest indepth opinion and is helpful to those looking at using greengadets.
