Hackney Cycles Avis 

I bought a single gear bike with Hackney cycles 5 years ago. it has been twicked and improved over the years: It is a no frill bike but has never lets me down... You can turn up with small problems and they get resolved on the spot. They have repaired and serviced other bikes I have brought in as well for a very reasonable price . The staff, in particular the 2 bosses ( think that, not sure?) and Nick have always been very friendly, helpful and efficient. the prices are reasonable. The service is very fast. It is a no BS bike shop.

I don’t live far, so I went here multiple times in the past already and they’ve always been so great and helpful. Whenever I had an issue, they always got my bike back to its best state in no time! Thank you Hackney Cycles!

good but a bit expensive , non negotiating

They make it look so easy. Every time I go in I leave with exactly what I want and, in terms of repairs, insanely quickly and at low cost. My wife bought a bike from them and while she opted for one of their branded cycles, basic frame, components etc. she loves it and when she takes it for a service (or the time when someone ran over it in a lockable area) it's fixed and returned in no time. Honesty and reliability, luckily there are still places like this around.

I have bought two bicycles from here. One was a no Logo black single gear ear fixie with schwalbe marathon Kevlar tyres, the other was a hackney club fixie with alloy rear pannier rack, Brown saddle and handlebars (cow horn) and Kevlar tyres. The staff were honest, polite, helpful, knew what they were doing and even helped me size and choose the correct bike for me. The no logo cost me £170, the Hackney club cost me £225. And as of now at time of writing, the following two bikes are in perfect condition and still running smoothly. I would definitely buy again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a good quality bicycle.

I have my hackney bike for over a year and could not be happier with it! Not only the bike is great, durable and reliable but also the guys at the shop are very helpful. I had the bike serviced last week and it is almost new! I would buy again and recommend to everyone!

I bought a bike (Teman - blue/white) and when it was delivered it had several major scratches and paint damage on the frame. When I complained about the damage, I was told that all bicycles have scratch marks in the paint - which I think should be informed in the webshop in that case. They were willing to compensate me with 10 pounds and suggested that I buy a can of paint and paint over the damage myself. Is it good customer care? Warning, shop elsewhere.

The bike looked exactly like it did on the website. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the front break is missing a spring that sits in the barrel adjusters.
Now I cannot tune te tension in the front breaks.. but apart from that a bang on company that made a tiny mistake.
