Halen Môn - Anglesey Sea Salt Company Avis 24

We booked two seaweed barrel baths and it was an amazing experience. The water was so warm and remained so throughout the 45 minutes. The seaweed added a silky oil to the water and left our skin feeling refreshed and pampered. The views were amazing and the staff were really informative and friendly. We will definitely be encouraging our friends and family to go and we'll be back again soon.

A guy who works there basically accused me of stealing, even though I'd already bought £47 worth of products from their overpriced shop.
Was in the cafe after every other customer had left and he said to me " they are cameras " . Avoid this place if you can. The staff think they are too important to serve you ....see other review where someone has said they were 15 minutes in the shop whilst staff watched them through the doors. Pathetic!

I recently visited Halen Mon with my mum on a wild weather afternoon. We were very lucky to grab the last couple of spots on a tour and had a great time; it was fascinating to learn the story of Halen Mon and try some of the salt. Our guide Sam great.
My mum then had a ridiculously good time in the shop before we headed out to the cafe for a beer and brownie.
We really enjoyed the afternoon; everyone was friendly and helpful and the whole vibe was very pleasant and relaxing.

My partner and I have been enjoying your salt products for years. We visited the shop when we’ve been in the area of Anglesey and purchased numerous other items from the shop.

As we are getting married in North Wales, in a small intimate ceremony, we thought we would include some of your products in the gift bags we are producing for each room where people are staying including products that reflect the local area. I emailed last year about how to go about a small bulk order; no response bar a general we will respond within 48hrs. Then nothing. I left it till closer to the time. I then emailed again on the 26/3/25. I received a response to say I would hear from someone within 48 hrs. Then another response where I had been copied into an internal email discussing my request. I responded to say I wasn’t sure the message was for me but looking forward to working with you. Again, no response to either my initial request on the 26/3 nor my response to say I look forward to working with you.

I appreciate that it was a small order of 16 small canisters of charcoal sea salt and 16 bars of soap and 6 boxes of oils. All I needed to know was how best to order them, whether a discount could be offered (happy either way) and some help. We are 5 weeks out from the wedding and I have sourced other products. Our deepest desire was to support the local Welsh economy.

Left feeling very disappointed that emails and requests have been ignored.

We really enjoyed our trip behind the scenes with our guide Sam. We have visited Halen Mon before and finally succumbed to visit on a very rainy November day and found ourselves wondering why we haven’t done this event before. A fascinating story presented really well by Sam. A nice way to get away from the weather for a bit, lovely coffee too.

The 2 stars are reflecting the impact on the environment. The constant smoke coming out of the factory is unfortunately extremely damaging for the environment. Please sort it out asap

Excellent presentation from Sam. Very informative and interesting. Good to try different types of salt at the end. Would have been nice to try more of the sauces although the Salted Caramel is delicious. Hopefully the cafe option can become an indoor facility?

Not a critique of the tour but the product, we bought a 15g pot which looks nice but when you open the packet of salt inside it doesn’t even half fill the container what absolute robbery you would think you would get at least a nearly full pot for the price!

Following a recommendation from a friend we decided to pay a visit. We hadn’t pre booked a tour but we were reassured there were spaces for us. Our tour guide was Sam and he was very knowledgeable and took our group on an interesting tour. The video at the start was great and the salt tasting was amazing who knew there were so many tastes. The gin tasting was awesome. The use of salt brought out the tastes of the botanics. A bottle may have been purchased! Thanks Sam!

Everything I've ordered from them has been excellent, particularly love the smoked water. In my experience the aroma/flavour is much milder than suggested but it is the only such product in the UK that does not contain flavourings so I hope it will be available for years to come! Also appreciate the environmental packaging and quick delivery.

Excellent visit and accessible by all ages.
Really enjoyed this tour and learnt so much. We had a young to old with us who all also enjoyed the visit. The staff were friendly and patient. Our guide was Rob who was also very informative but entertaining. The salt (and gin) tasting was also a nice touch. I would recommend to anyone. Sea Zoo and the farm tour (i cant remember the name) are right next door and also excellent so this is a good place to spend a full day.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service. My order was acknowledged immediately and picked the same day. Shipping to USA was less than a week and my gifts arrived well before Christmas
