Awful wax melts
Awful wax melts. Cheap fragrance, could not burn. Threw them away. Waste of money.

Thank you for your feedback, although we are surprised by your comments.
Our wax melts are made using premium fragrance oils and eco soy wax, with bespoke fragrances developed specifically for Hampshire Candles. They are not cheap, generic fragrances commonly found elsewhere.
We’re also unsure what is meant by “could not burn” as wax melts are designed to melt, not burn. If the wax was not melting correctly, this would usually indicate an issue with the wax warmer, bulb, tea light or heating method rather than the wax melt itself. If you are using a Scentsy warmer, it is worth noting that these are designed specifically for Scentsy wax and often do not reach temperatures high enough to properly melt soy wax melts.
Your order was placed in February, and in the four months since then we have received no contact from you regarding any issues. Had you contacted us, we would have been more than happy to help troubleshoot the problem before the products were discarded.
Since your order was placed, we have sold many thousands of wax melts and continue to sell hundreds every week without experiencing widespread issues of this nature. This is the first time we have been made aware of a problem with these products.
As a small business, we always welcome the opportunity to resolve concerns directly and are disappointed that the first we heard of this issue was through a review several months after purchase.

We’re sorry to hear you felt disappointed with your diffuser. We were quite surprised to receive this review before we had the opportunity to fully respond to your emails over the Bank Holiday weekend.
As explained in our email, the reason the colour of your Angel diffuser oil appears darker is due to the current crop of patchouli oil used within the fragrance blend being naturally much darker in colour than previous batches. This does not affect the fragrance itself in any way — it is still the exact same Angel scent, strength and formulation that our diffusers are made with.
Many fragrance oils can vary slightly in colour from batch to batch depending on natural ingredients used, especially oils containing patchouli.
As a small business, our team work extremely hard to ensure every order is produced to a high standard, so reviews like this can feel quite harsh after we have taken the time to explain the reason behind the colour difference. We always aim to be transparent and helpful with our customers and appreciate your understanding.
