Called in on the off chance that Hays Travel might be able to help us arrange a trip on the Glacier Express and they came up trumps. Jessica listened carefully to what we were looking for and knew exactly who to contact to make it happen. She then made sure our requirements were met. First class service from start to finish.

Friendly and knowledgeable.
I have been well supported to book the right holiday - many times. Jess, Sharon and Ellie are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always happy to answer my questions (I ask a lot!) and add things to my holiday like flight upgrades when my budget improves.
They also have a good supply of brochures to enable me to look for my next holiday.

I have booked a holiday to cape verde…
I have booked a holiday to cape verde on the 10th of January 2026 with Hayes travel in amesbury I watch the news on TV last night which has reported 1500 cases of a food poison bug in cape verde since 2024 and is still going on which was reported last night 2 February 2026 .
I was told nothing about this by the staff when I booked two weeks ago no advice was given about the on going problems in cape verde in fact they have book the very hotel which is having cases reported what kind of travel agent would do this when they most know about this ?.

Our experience of using Hays Travel for our holiday bookings has always been great. I love the fact that everything is taken care of without the hassle of having to find the best flight times/arrange transfers to and from airport/booking seats on airline myself.
