Hays Travel - Chelmsford Avis 

We booked a city break at our local branch where we found the staff very helpful, friendly and gave us some good advice about our location and recommendations on hotels.
My only advice would be to order your currency online because we feel ripped off after being told as we booked our trip with hays we would get a better rate through them in store. After getting home I checked the exchange rates elsewhere and found out we paid £40 more and when I called the store I was told that the online rate is different to the store rate and after complaining I was told I would be met in the middle and get £21 refunded but still done for £20😡

The Asian lady in High Chelmer shopping centre Chelmsford selling the euro currency, really had me over charging me £3.99 for buy back which was not offered and not needed, and gave me yhe worst rate of 1. 05, also not explained at time of purchase. It wasnt till i left the shop i looked at the reciept to see what awful rate and deal i had been given without explaining to me. How many others are being conned like this. She must be on a great commission bonus in that shop. Its a shame as the holiday sales girls are first class, but now we are put off using this shop again due to the currency lady. I fid email and complain but heard nothing back at all which was dissapointing

Jo was very helpful when booking our holiday, she was very friendly and we felt very relaxed as she was not pushy either.

I had to visit twice over the weekend to arrange my trip later this year, with my friend from New Zealand. As I had asked for a few different options on flights, hotels and excursions. This took over 5hrs of Debbie's time. A big thank you to Debbie for her patience, Reece's recommendations on Hotels and excursions. Both of them were very helpful and informative, with suggestions and recommendations. Even though this took a very long time, to plan and execute. I never once felt rushed, or pressured into making a booking. Looking forward to our trip later this year. Thank you again Debbie and Reece for all your help.
