We always book with Hays their Customer service and focus is second to none. We would always recommend them. I booked a holiday for myself and my friend on the 24th February. ho is 86 years old. He was not able to get insurance.I feel we should have been made aware of this possibility when we booked.
48 hours later ... was absolutely disgusted to learn. my friend would not be eligible for a refund but I would be eligible for a full refund...for which I am still waiting to be contacted about.I was told I would be contacted within 7 DAYS.It is 11 daysalready.Iam extremely disappointed with the service from TUI.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about the refund issue and the delay in contact.
Upon checking your booking I can see that you did not receive a full refund, the cancellation charge from TUI was 50%, and the remaining 50% was refunded on 4th March, onto the original card that was used.
If this was your friends card, he should be giving you half of this refund. I hope this makes sense.

We had a couple of chats with Hays Travel staff and they were really helpful and patient.we had a few ideas and hopes, but no real plans and the staff helped to sort out a lovely weekend in London.
