Hays Travel - Sunderland Vine Place Avis 

We were served by Leah who was very friendly and helpful. We knew exactly what we wanted and our holiday was booked without any problems- it's always a pleasure to go into the Vine Place branch

The girls bent backwards to find what i wanted,and it wasnt easy . Took about an hour.

Got a call from Leah, Vine Place yesterday saying she had some good deals on Marella Cruise. She knows us well and knew we would be interested. She found us a great trip for next June just in time for my birthday 🎂

Non reliable company. I’ve booked my first international holiday in one of their branches. I wanted to spend my holiday in peaceful and non-stressful atmosphere. They took a lot of money for it, but I just wanted to make sure that everything will be fine. I was looking for an Accessible room in a hotel. In 2026 day didn’t have any knowledge about how to find it. But after a long time of sitting in the room, they’ve managed it somehow. I’ve also mentioned that I’m travelling with my friend and need a separate room for him. A couple of weeks before travel agency called to me and said that there is no Accessible room. But they’re standard rooms still should be fine just a little bit smaller. After coming to the hotel late night, we have been informed that there are no two separate rooms just a one room has been booked. And that they’ve got an Accessible rooms available but not been booked. So this standard room which I have been told by the agent that it still should be fine was incredibly inaccessible especially such basic things like toilet. That’s how I start my international holiday with stress and lost a lot of money. Of course the agents didn’t want to took any responsibility for it. We have managed to fix that only because of great staff of the hotel. Don’t recommend this company especially because of the fact that the same holiday you can buy directly from flight company 40% cheaper. Because after coming to the hotel, everything has been managed by Jet2.

Ruby is a pleasant lovely lady who worked together with us to get a dream holiday or should I say holidays. I went into the branch not knowing what I really wanted for my birthday break and came home delighted with the choice booked. My husbands birthday holiday was also booked she worked hard to get the seats changed on the coach as we were told we had the front seats and I’m frightened to sit there as a driver myself nobody drives the same way as you.

Called into the Sunderland branch on Vine place as a spur of the moment thing, late in the afternoon. Spoke to Rachel regarding a multi centre holiday to USA & also a trip to Tenerife this November. She was absolutely amazing, did her utmost best for us, we booked the Tenerife trip there & then but we were conscious it was nearing closing time so she said she’d keep at it to get us the best price for the USA trip & email us the following day. Fabulous.

Phoned about a holiday I’d seen online. Had a great conversation with the girl, can’t remember her name, who arranged everything.
This isn’t the first time I’ve used Hays and it won’t be the last. Service and friendliness of the staff is first class.
