I would give 0 if possible the card…

I would give 0 if possible the card works like 2 times then randomly keeps declining then pin gets blocked even when correct. I then have to call customer services to unblock. Also need to put chip and pin after a few times. Annoying isnt the word.

Disgusting left over 8 weeks without any help whatsoever told payment date this Wednesday will be in Friday ... Guess what Friday comes nor in got to wait till Wednesday next week then will be in next Friday... lie after lie each time staff say don't know who told me YOUR STAFF ... leaving children without healthy nutrition while all income stopped I have to now beg and borrow for milk for the 9th week NOT A SINGLE REPLY EVEN AFTER MY REVIEW IM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY DISGUSTING LEAVING CHILDREN WITHOUT MILK VOUCHERS MONEY I AM ENTITLED TO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HELP BEFOR MIGRATING OVER AS YOU WILL BE LEFT WITH NOTHING FOR 10 WEEKS DONT KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE SLEEP AT NIGHT KNOWING STARVING BABIES .. update its the day staff said my vouchers will be done and what a surprise my vouchers till not on HAVE NOW PUT A COMPLAINT INCOMPETENT STAFF WHO LIE

Terrible the system makes no sense yes…

Terrible the system makes no sense yes my take home pay is a little over 400 but by the time my rent and utilities get paid I’m left with 100 pound to live on for a month. For food for me and milk thats now 13 to 15 pound a tub. But I’m not entitled.

Well everyone should know that if…

Well everyone should know that if you’re working and get universal credit you probably won’t get the healthy start card. If your take home pay is more than £408 you will be declined. So why tell people they can claim this when even the most needy cannot?
Yet another government lie saying it’s helping people ☹️

Card for some reason got declined even…

Card for some reason got declined even though the money was there , it has now even sat in pending for 21 days and can't access it been told I have to wait up to 30 days for it to go back on the card , no good when I was getting baby milk good job I could find the money from somewhere else or she would of had no milk . Absolute joke

Disgraceful

Disgraceful! Firsty was told I wasn't entitled to this which I knew I was. Then a year after applying they decide to tell me their decision was wrong and I am entitled. I emailed back and forward to get my back dated payment from when I originally applied. All I got was if you're owed back payment we will get in touch. They did not!! After many emails i finally got an answer agreeing I was entitled to nearly £300 backpay. Then after a few months they have told me I have spent all this. On fruit veg and milk?!!! Really?!! Every time I contact them they want me to prove who I am even though we are having a conversation through email thread! Useless just like the government in power! Something that's meant to help people on low income has made things harder by trying to sort it out as they can't! My card is often declined in lidl when there is credit on there. When I listen to my transactions the ones which were declined are listed several times. Very bad service!!

Worst ever out the blue stopped my claim and my child not had any thin for 2 months then they take a month to review it keep the money as you donr help people what so ever and the card never works it is embarrassing for people at the till bad service

The card worked till my childs 1st birthday now it don't work at all tried sorting it out on the phone yesterday worked for one day and now its blocked again for no reason 😡😡 was better as vouchers when they rememberd to send them out that is..

It's outrageous system

I've just called to try to apply, as my baby has development problems due to lack of vitamins. It's outrageous that 1 year old babies aren't entitled to free vitamins. The 400/month/family cap is ridiculous when there's rent, utilities and expenses to pay. It's a mock
In any other countries children get free medical and development support and services.

have had the card for just over 5…

have had the card for just over 5 months, worked fine... saved my pin for rainy days, however, this month I rang up £21 on the card, have tried on 2 occasions at a till to use it, declined.. same pin as usual, still declined, rang to check both pin and balance today, pin Same, balance is down to £17.. how does it just randomly start refusing the pin and the funds magically go down. during the time when the children need that extra help to keep healthy.

It acc worked really good for a year…

It acc worked really good for a year for me and I acc liked using the card. But then randomly they sent an email saying I wasn’t eligible anymore. I’m so confused cos my situation hasn’t changed at all? It has been the same literally all year round, so I don’t understand. Also, they used to send letters for everything. I think I received like 5 letters explaining that they were going to change from vouchers to the card service. However they didn’t send me a letter explaining I wasn’t Eligible anymore? I received an email which was in my junk folder so I had no idea that it didn’t work until a month later when I couldn’t use my card.

HEALTHY START 0 STARS IF POSS

I would give this a 0 stars if I could. Everything worked fine when vouchers were sent out through post £4.25 a week. When they changed to cards the farce began. I changed address but because my address did not say flat on healthy start but did on universal credit they said I was no longer eligible so after months of getting automated emails waiting 40 mi s on the phone dealing with about 7 different ppl and they don't communicate with each other or with DWP AT ALL so then It finally got sorted. Then another personal detail changed straight away I was no longer eligible but this time even though the personal detail has been sorted they are now saying I'm not eligible if my "take home money" is more than £400. Ok what is take home money and this is the first time I've heard off this that your not eligible if your take home money is over £400 with universal credit. It's a complete joke noone knows what they are saying. There is always another goal post there so if I get knocked back now based on my universal credit that means so will everybody else who gets a standard allowance and unfit for work plus I'm a full time single mother either way if not added up both my standard allowance and unfit for work money comes to way under £400 so I don't know what they are talking abou. the attitude on some of them after waiting to speak to them for 40 mins but you have 7 different ppl answering emails giving different answers. I will continue to fight it I've been getting HEALTHY START vouchers and card for over 2 years I know I'm eligible but the way they go on is like your buying a house it's a terrible service prepare to be left continuously frustrated if you find yourself in this situation which I hope you dont !!

It’s terrible. Card never worked. Another one arrived in 3 months only and still can’t activate it.. Vaucher’s were better

Vouchers were better

I have to do 2 separate transactions when shopping as the card does not deduct the amount from your shopping like the vouchers did also they are only paying me for one of my child instead of 2 every time I call them it’s either hard to get through by phone or the call cuts off and they don’t bother calling you back they have told me the problem is universal credit or child benefit but I had called them and sorted any mistakes still they are not paying me for my 2nd child.

For no reason what so ever my claim has been stopped even though my claim has never altered I've sent evidence but it's not enough they don't answer the phone and they're just uninterested. They don't know what they're doing

Lost my card over a month ago have been emailing and getting no response. Have tried to call to report it and the lines are apparently always busy and gets cut off. Appalling service, don’t know why it’s so hard to pick up the phone or email back!

Why is it so hard to swap from paper vouchers to prepaid card

Wow the mission to get a prepaid card when I was getting the vouchers perfectly fine then suddenly I wasn't eligible after applying online. So after around 15 emails of them blaming UC and UC saying they had nothing to do with it. I wasn't eligible because my details didnt match (yet they did with the vouchers and nothing had changed) turns out it was because I had used a comma and this what was the problem was it was finally found in the end.
