Always the best of customer experiences at Hertz Rent-A-Car!

Serious miscommunication. MOD onsite was helpful however Hertz corporate policies are unbelievably inept and their systems are a disaster. Renting trucks for our fleet long-term and random policies are a disaster. Unable to keep same vehicle it i approaches 25000 mi yet we have trucks that are over 71000 and fine. Location side they had a vehicle and they didn't. My tech sat at the location for 3 hrs for them to find another truck, just because we had to turn our current truck in ( couldn't extend rental due to 25000 mi.
Customer service on the phone is zero help. Oil change places often refuse to do their oil changes because they can't get authorization even tho a ticket was created. This whole place is a disaster. Also said they have direct billing, however only for rentals over 100k a year....and it took only 4 weeks to get that answer.
Our latest truck we got was a 2026 Ram and has scratches, tailgate was dinged, not clean inside or outside, chipped windshield....do these people even take care of their vehicles? And I can guarantee they charged the previous renter for those damages.

Car I booked I did not have, the car interior smell was not good, I went to change or option to upgrade, waited for 10 minutes also heard the manager was telling the previous customers he have 3 cars for upgrade but she did not qualify and finally gave her the upgrade, not sure if charged extra.
I went and asked for car change and if possible for upgrade which I will pay, he bluntly told no upgrades and no other cars available and I have to come back in the afternoon 2:30 pm which not correct, telling different things to different customers. I a presidential club member and I rent from Hertz

THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT. MADE THINGS RIGHT FROM PREVIOUS HORRIBLE RENTAL

Waited 1 1/2 hours to get vehicle. Then was charged addition hours upon return when I dropped it off on time but was not enter till two hours later. Manager said he would correct but never did. Wasting way to much time just to rent a car for the day. Then to be treated like this is unacceptable. I thought that this location was doing better, I was wrong.

Very fast and good service

There was an issue with the rental reservation. The representatives took accountability and apologized. There needs to be a quality fleet of clean vehicles at neighbor Hertz for business Gold members.
