Hertz - Federal Way - Pacific Highway S Avis 

As a president’s circle member I expect to not wait for a rental once I arrive. Once I arrived at this location, no vehicle of my rented class was available so I should have been given whatever next car was available. Instead the clerk insisted that I wait a few minutes for a car one class higher to be cleaned and prepared - I obliged. After waiting 50 minutes I was provided a car that hadn’t been washed, smelled like marijuana, and showed the ‘check engine oil’ light my entire trip. This was a massive inconvenience and makes me reconsider why I even use Hertz in the first place over any other company that offers better value.

I love the lady who runs the location. Every time I called and went in, she was quick to acknowledge me even though she was busy.she called back quickly after I left a VM. There were multiple people waiting and phones ringing I don’t know how she does all of it with ONLY ONE PERSON working?! this lady deserves a pay raise and award she was great

Renting from neighborhood locations always brings a high level of uncertainty to my reservation. I am told EVERY TIME that the location “may not have a car for [me]” because their insurance-based business takes precedence. As a Five Star Member and someone tries to book my cars well in advance, the availability of a confirmed car should not be a question. I also shouldn’t be downgraded because of availability. The responses hover around “nothing I can do” or “I never have enough cars” or—my favorite—“Five Star does mean anything when it comes to availability”.
