First car I got smelled like it had been hotboxed right before I got there. They offered me the only other vehicle available and made me pay an upgrade fee for it. It was a hybrid vehicle so cost more... Voir plus

First car smelled like weed then got charged an upgrade fee for a stained car
First car I got smelled like it had been hotboxed right before I got there. They offered me the only other vehicle available and made me pay an upgrade fee for it. It was a hybrid vehicle so cost more but in my opinion they should have waived it considering. The car they gave me was dirty, not vacuumed out and had a terrible stain on the front seat. I had to accept it because I needed to get on the road. It was an awful experience. Will never rent Hertz again, especially at a smaller location like this. Staff weren’t mean but also still an overall bad experience.

Bad experience
I made a reservation for a full size sedan and the agent working at Irving office didn’t full-fill my reservation as it was made. I received Kia Trax compact/mid size SUV.
I informed that I have long road trip and sedan would only suite my journey. Kia trax was not much economical, it had a lot of vibration on its vehicle steering.
I had motion sickness at the end of each day after driving. Never felt that bad with any of my previos long road journeys.
Also, the agent at Irving location was not polite and rude. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have such a pathetic experience at Irving Hertz!

My experience with hertz at Irving west airpot freeway location was really good and i would like to recommend this location to the people. The staff at this location is friendly and supportive. Almost all the time cars are available at this location, if not then they do give you call saying car is not available.
