As a Gold Member, Hertz makes the entire process of renting a vehicle from them so quick and easy.

Being able to go directly to the car and not stand in line was wonderful! My husband needed wheelchair assistance and there was no hesitation helping get him directly to the car as well.

Hertz makes it easy to reserve and pick up your rental car.

Easy but the person at the airport in Phoenix picking up from at the desk was not helpful and very rude, yelled at me several times because I couldn’t find the vehicle nor would he even help me do so. Was awful. Vehicle was fine.

I reserved a vehicle approximately four weeks prior to my trip and when I got to the sky Harbor facility by Phoenix Airport, they did not have a car for me. I wasted an hour and a half looking for another rental company to get me a car. This is unacceptable especially for someone in the circle.

Picking up the car was very easy & we got to choose whatever car we wanted along the Gold area. Checking out of the parking structure, we met a very friendly & courteous staff by the name of Tori. She made sure everything was good & gave us excellent customer service with a smile .

Great company to rent from.

Easy find a car and get going. Good choice of vehicles in the Gold Star parking. Fast check out if there aren't a lot of people.

Lack of cars for gold members was disappointing

I’m a President’s circle member and have been a happy customer until this email was received. 

You are claiming that your AI generated review is showing some blemishes which I contend is an error. I inspected the vehicle before and on return and did not notice any dents. No incident occurred during the rental period to cause any damage. On return the Hertz’s receiving attendant walked around the vehicle and did not notice any damage and said everything was OK and I was all set.

Then this email notification arrives. 

I request you to have a human being visually inspect the damage claimed and dismiss it as there is none. Could this be bird poop or some dirt that is being misinterpreted as damage by your AI system?

For $84 you want as repair cost you risk loosing a loyal customer for ever. I regularly rent cars about 2 to 3 times a month and will not be renting from Hertz unless this charge is removed.
 Today I am renting a car again at PHX but not with you but with Avis/Budget. 
So if you want be back as a customer I request you to kindly take off this charge.

Quick and easy.

Car broke down 45 minutes from the airport, ride back with tow truck driver. After the hour and thirty minutes it took to get back to the airport, was told to get in line for a new vehicle.

Hertz couldn’t even be bothered to have a car waiting for me. I picked up my first car at 11:15 and, I believe, it was 2:30 or 3:00 by the time I got the second one. The employees were so callous and the girl who was waiting on me for the new car was actually checking her phone messages while I was waiting. I have never been treated with such disregard.

Easy in and out. Quick drop off at 3:30 am.

Initial contact with representative was poor.
I was treated disrespectfully as she joked about my sudden presence and confusion as to where I was supposed to stand in line. Made me feel about 2 feet tall. She then told me I was a gold member and all Inhad to do was “go downstairs and pick any car in the gold section”. When I got downstairs, I picked a car and when I got to the exit gate, was told me reservation information was “incomplete”, and that the representative upstairs should have taken care of it. Very sloppy intake.

You made everything so easy, from the time we checked in, to getting the vehicle to return. We will never use anyone else from now on.
