Hertz - Virginia Beach - Laskin Road Avis

The staff was friendly and it made my rental experience even better. My car was clean and appeared as advertised. I will return to Hertz for my next rental!!!

customer service was efficient and courteous
we had a flat and person on phone was helpful and quick to assist

Our flight was cancelled to Dulles and the airline put us on a later flight. We were worried that something else might come up before and not be able to make our flight to Europe. We immediately rented a car from the web site and ubered over to Hertz. What an easy process it was for us. We rode in style in a comfortable Cadillac. We got to the airport and turned it in. All in all, this was better than flying the earlier flight and sitting around the airport all day! Salesman at Hertz Laskin Road was fabulous and helpful!

The Hertz people are great- problem was vehicle that we rented. We should have listened or asked when we picked up the car about cruise control and other options. However, that is on us. This Hyundai Tucson was a four-cylinder, which did not go well going over the mountains and there was no explanation in the vehicle of how to set up or use cruise control at all. The last car we rented was a Nissan rogue and it was outstanding. We will attempt to be more diligent in the future about the vehicle we rent, but Hertz is great!

I didn't like that only one attendant was at the location when I arrived, and he checked customers in and prepared the cars. Additionally, the car was not properly cleaned when I arrived to get the rental.

I have specifically chosen this Hertz location because they have Great customer service!! Not only with myself but I witnessed an employee attending a customer while another customer attempted to get his attention and he handled it professionally while still continuing to assist his customer
