absolutley awful customer service, never received my item but got an empty damaged box, parcel company didnt want to know nor Highlands Industrial Supplies, just an awful experience please stay clear

Placed the order ,received confirmation and that was it.

No delivery after 5 days. Contacted them 3 times by phone and not 1 reply came back. Cancelled the order and found cheaper elsewhere.

I purchased an apron on 7th May 26.

Paid £6.99 for a signed delivery

FedEx sent a message re date and time of deliver. It hadn’t arrived so I checked online and it stated it had been delivered before the allotted time.

I have 24 hour serveillance cameras no one had set foot on my property.

I called the company I purchased the item from who confirmed it had been delivered and there was my initial and a squiggle as signed for but they would investigate.

The next day a man walked onto our property and went to an old unmarked large wooden gate where he had stuffed it under and behind a bbq we haven’t used in years. My drive is about 150 meters round the corner. So I do have the parcel. No apology or explanation.

The supplier states they re not responsible for the delivery company (as per a previous posting)and both (FedEx ) refuse to acknowledge my complaint, neither company will provide a copy of my signed delivery notice or refund the £6.99 I paid for my signature which I did not sign. I have sent more than a dozen emails to both parties .

A man called Craig Fair from FedEx did call me on a no caller ID or visible telephone number (some weeks later) but I did not pick up due to the number of scams especially high rate calls. I emailed him straight away as I was abroad and unable to take his call but contact me after 28 June of course he never called back.

My concern is that someone could have taken the parcel and I would not have a leg to stand on as it had been ‘signed’ for.

HIS reviews similar , under the sales of goods act they are responsible for the delivery which they refuse to accept and both refuse to register my complaints.

Sadly if I can not be confident in the delivery of my goods and company’s accepting responsibility I would not purchase from the company again.

Like to support local businesses but the head of the tool department is the most miserable person I've ever met in my life, think he's been in the job too long, as he used to be very helpful and courteous. Now the best you can hope for is a disgruntled grunt. The rest of the staff are great super helpful but if you plan on buying power tools at a competitive price this is not the man to deal with. I'll be buying all my stuff online from now as I can't afford to pay marked prices as they are at least 30% more than everyone online. Gave 3stars from previous experience but I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Horrible customer service . Product came not as described and the business fails to accept this . They then state the shipping costs is on the customer if wanting a return .

Visiting Highland Industrial is like a trip to Aladdin's Cave. They seem to stock everything you could possibly need and probably more besides. The staff are like a big family; always friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and polite. Whether it's building materials, power tools, industrial clothing, or just that frustrating one-off widget that you can't find anywhere else, I highly recommend a trip to Seafield Road.
