hmv (UK) - Birmingham Bullring Avis 

Security was so rude and unpolite and the fact we couldn’t even have our phones out at a signing was ridiculous

I can not fault the kindness of the staff. Several went that extra mile to support several of us with mobility issues. A couple of the centres security too. The only one that was rather rude was a lady who basically took my phone to take pictures instead of myself doing of my two companions. So photos with Dave and The Captain didn't happen all and none of my younger companion. I think the woman thought I'd hold things up. We were well aware of why things were running late, a fourth member of our party spoke with someone he knows in the locality.
I congratulate you on having a great team at this branch and thank you for hosting it.

Great to meet The Damned and get New album signed but spoilt by the rudeness of the woman at the end ushering us to leave quickly and absolutely no manners.
Don’t know if this woman was a HMV employee ( as everyone else was lovely) or brought in from outside, but loose her and treat people with courtesy and you’ll get your five stars .

Signing was badly managed. We were treated like cattle and pushed. Really appalling

We were at the Birmingham HMV for a signing by The Damned. This was very well organised. The team kept us informed that the band were running late as there had been a crash on the M6. My friend was on crutches, so the team organised a chair for her to wait. It was great to meet the band, I felt that we were given time to chat to them, even though they were running late, I felt that we were not rushed and a member of staff offered to take pictures for us too.

picking up the delivery prior to the signing was brilliant and super easy. the actual signing itself was honestly confusing. having been to signings before we’ve always been allowed to take pics and at previous signings of this artist people have shared pics. felt incredibly unfair to the fans who rarely get the chance to meet artists that they weren’t able to commemorate with a picture or anything. would’ve taken an extra 5-10 seconds per person had it been organised correctly

Apart from queing for the event for about 2 hrs it was great

Went to the meet and greet with The Damned with them signing their new LP which was collected from store. They were running late but staff kept us updated and I was offered a chair as I have mobility issues. Great experience and fantastic staff. The Damned, of course, were amazing!

We attended an album signing for the Damned which was held inside the Bullring’s HMV. However, due to unforeseen circumstances there was a delay due to the band getting held up in traffic. The staff kept us informed and were friendly and helpful during the wait. Luckily the band were not held up as expected and once the event got up and running the staff were once again friendly and helpful getting things moving as smoothly as possible.

Dave at Birmingham bullring was a fantastic help! I'd ordered a click and collect due on Christmas eve! Went in at 930, no delivery, Dave took my details & said he'd call me if it came. As I left the shop he chased after me in the bullring 2mins later as they'd had a delivery & my purchase was there, Christmas saved for my nephew 😁
