I was looking for a small heating unit for a build-out into our oversized garage. This build-out would be a combination mudroom and pantry. The small space however needed a small, but efficient heating unit.

Ran across a flat panel heating unit on HomElectric that I thought would fit our need. I spoke with Sylvie (sp?) whose product knowledge was impressive. She reviewed the specs and helped me decide that this unit would work. She also helped me to determine a thermostat that would work in this setting.

After placing the order, the heating unit arrived promptly, but the thermostat was AWOL. This is where the quality of this company rises above most.

Luca was amazing! She did her best to research the status, but needed more time to get an answer. I was promised an answer before the end of the day. Much to my surprise I received an email response that same day. Still trying to get an answer from the vendor, but that reply showed her true dedication to taking care of the customer. Several days went by and every day I received an email from Luca with the current status. Although it was still unresolved she was determined to let me know that she was still on top of it.

Finally, after about 3 days, and having to escalate to her supervisor, she was able to get an answer from the vendor saying that shipment would occur within the following day or two.

Customer service can sometimes be a thankless job. Many reps will just ignore the customer if they don't have any answers. Luca has broken that mold and demonstrated the true nature of competency.

I ordered some electric connections and they were 1/2 the price of anyone else. I saw the trust pilot info but they were quick and easy to order with and provided great customer service. Got the product and it's the real thing, great quality. They are a trustworthy website from my standpoint!!

Terrible service and got scammed. Ordered a $300 replacement ACSR cutter head and they shipped me a $2 fuse instead. Never seen anything like it. I Would not trust this company with anything. Do not order thru them

Two sets of lights ordered but the delivery kept being put back. I therefore cancelled the order, told them not to deliver. They said they could not stop the delivery, but not to accept the delivery, which I did when it eventually arrived.
I have been demanding a refund for the past 6+ weeks, but keep getting fobbed off, and they insist the goods have to be received at the warehouse before a refund can be issued. I have explained this is not my problem, but still no refund.

They have very long delivery times. But the bigger issue is they have deceptive pricing. I bought light bulbs which were listed as a price for a pack of 6. Instead they charged me the price for each individual bulb.

This is a rip off site. Cheap Chinese exporter fronting up the appearance of a quality UK online electrics company. I ordered what should have been a quality wooden light fitting for the price, but what was shipped was a low quality plastic light fitting. Also shipping stated 2 days and it took 2 weeks for obvious reasons.

06/24/25: ordered an elec baseboard + tstat. order email says baseboard is in stock, will ship by 06/26/25, tstat "Usually Ships 2-4 Weeks"
06/26/25: email stating "We have received and are processing your order ---. Your order is scheduled to ship by 07/18/2025."
07/15/25: email stating "We have received and are processing your order ---. Your order is scheduled to ship by 07/25/2025."
07/16/25: email stating "We have received and are processing your order ---. Your order is scheduled to ship by 07/31/2025."
07/16/25: called, requested to send the baseboard so that i can run wiring and close up the hole in the wall; the rep agreed the baseboard was sitting there. no update on tstat provided. Offered to mail the baseboard, *which stated in their sales order that it would ship 06/26*, but i get to pay additional to do so.
If you think you'll save a dollar or 2 buying here, don't bother; read the reviews, with this sh!tshow order fulfillment effort you'll be left trying to finish your project for an unspecified duration.

I purchased a thermostat which did not function properly. They refused to give a refund and would only issue a store credit they told me I had to keep track of. I have no need for anything else from them so store credit is useless. Nothing but crooks.

I was so frustrated trying to find the correct replacement for my smoke detector. The ladies at HomElectrical helped me locate the right part as well a explain steps I would need to take to install it properly. They saved me so much headache! Thank you HomElectrical!!

worst experience, ordered almost 3 weeks ago and still have not recieved. i had to follow up with them to get an update, then they told me it shipped, which it did not. then the person corresponding with me was rude.... this cost me hundreds of dollars in delays... i'd advise shopping someplace else

Horrid - shipped the incorrect items, a LOT of back and forth - returned their incorrect items and have NEVER received the correct - still pending a refund

I ordered a small knob for a heater and it was finally delivered after 6 weeks. It is the size of a quarter. It does not fit my heater and HomElectric wants to charge me $23 for a return label, in order to return it. Are they crazy!!! They charged me $6.99 to deliver this tiny part.

I reordered the part I needed from Zoro and it arrived in 3 days. Excellent customer service too!

We purchased a heater - the description says thermostat included. Once we received the heater and opened the box we can see that the thermostat is not actually included. Homelectrical suggested a thermostat to fit the heater, but it doesn't fit. When I search for the part suggested by the manufacturer it is discontinued. So - we have a worthless heater that there is not thermostat to fit. Homelectrical wants to charge more to return the item than the actual cost of the item. Such a ripoff and a total scam.

I placed an order on Dec 11 for a wall heater. They advertised Dec 15 delivery for free on Google and offer a free shipping option on their website. I paid over $80 extra for 3-5 day shipping to get it faster but it isn’t here and per the tracking won't be here until Dec 19 which is 9 days! I asked them to refund me the shipping since they shipped it via a no faster shipping method than the free option and I paid for 3-5 day shipping. There is no possible way it would have reached me in 3-5 days via Ground shipping from the east coast. They argued they don’t control shipping time and stopped communicating with me. Why didn’t they ship it via 3-day or Priority mail to get it to me in the 3-5 windows they list? I paid over $80 to ship a 20lbs item!
Save your money, don't pay them for shipping. Who knows if I'll even get what I ordered. Disputed the charges.

I ordered $200 worth of hanging light bulbs for outside. The items were drop-shipped from China. None of the 96 bulbs worked...they didn't fire up. I tried them in lots of sockets, and nothing worked. The company is not authorizing a return, so I have to absorb the cheap crap they sell from China.

We ordered 4 hydronic heaters afrom home electrical. We are lucky though… we actually received what we ordered but it took three weeks to process the order and then ship the heaters. During that time we realized that we ordered the wrong voltage so we reached out to exchange them. We were told that it would cost us $230 to return the heaters and then we could place a new order. We never received return labels even after calling to make sure they were emailed before the 30 days. We are now keeping the heaters and will hire an electrician to re-wire our electrical panel. Not a good business and we wish we hadn’t ordered from them!

Now I understand why this company isn’t in Google. Ordered outdoor condenser unit. After tree week I didn’t get my unit. Only when I called they said it’s backorder, need to wait maybe one month more😡. I did refund and never will order there something

In ordered 6 USI M106S smoke alarms in March 2023. The product that arrived was manufactured in December 2020. I called HomElectrical and was assured that the 10 year warranty starts when the unit is installed. The unit has a built-in, non-serviceable battery, so I am a little concerned about the lifespan, but will install them anyway. I set a calendar reminder for March 2031 (8 yrs), 2032, and 2033. I'll revise my rating if the unit lasts 10 years.

I placed my order at 9am.. I called at 1 to cancel and they said they would do that and I would get an email conf. The confirmation never came, I called back late in the day and they said it could take longer,
I waited a day and called the next day and was assured by MIke that my order WAS cancelled and I would get a refund,
Now at 5 pm the next day i get an email saying its not cancelled. It took them two days to tell me its not cancelled, but yet when i called yesterday they could not tell me that.
Today I was told it was packed YESTERDAY at 10am but when i called at 1 they did not know. When I called later in the day, they did not know
when i called today.. they did not know.
AND still no shipping info
