DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! This is the worse experience I have every had renting a car. They do not have any customer service at all. They charge for insurance when I have full coverage insurance and I had to pay for the toll pass which I never went on a toll.

absolute rubbish do not use at any cost ,ripped off ,old cars loaded credit card with unknown extras

Gangsters , ive just recieved my credit card bill with 255 dollars of extras that i knew nothing about , paid 180 for car which was a great price for 10 days but turns out over 400 now ,no explanation , no response from Horsepower , should rename horseshit DO NOT USE . The quiker they go out of business the better

La peor experiencia de mi vida, renté un carro en noviembre con seguro, peajes, impuestos y hasta conductor elegido. A los 3 días el conductor adicional chocó el carro levemente en la parte trasera, me sentí tranquila porque había adquirido el seguro pero resultó que justo ese choque no se cubría, tomaron USD 5.000 dólares de mi tarjeta de crédito sin autorización par aun daño que según abogados y asesores no costaba más de USD 1.000 adicional a eso, jamás me entregaron un vehículo para reponer los días que ya había pagado de renta, los cuales eran 12. Jamás me enviaron fotos del vehículo o se comunicaron conmigo para sustentar el cobro, lo que tomé como un claro ROBO de mi dinero. Por favor nunca renten acá.

The worst experience of my life, I rented a car in November with insurance, taxes and aditional driver. At 3 days the additional driver crashed the car slightly in the back, I felt calm because I had purchased the insurance but it turned out that just that crash was not covered, they took USD 5,000 dollars from my credit card without authorization for even damage that according to lawyers and advisers cost no more than USD 1,000 in addition to that, they never gave me a vehicle to replace the days I had already paid rent, which were 12. They never sent me photos of the vehicle or contacted me to support the payment, I took as a clear THEFT from my money. Please never rent here.

AVOID of all cost! They might look cheaper, like I found them through Kayak, but in the end they are way to expensive and full of stress.

Office put of the office, I had to phone 3 times to understand how can I get to the shuttle.

I was in the office to pick my car but they tried to rub me. They tried to sell me a toll pas deal with 10 usd per day plus the tolls. I refused it, they wanted me no sigh something that I will pay a penalty 25 each time i use o toll, even i pay it myself.

And then they came with something else: they wanted to sell me a kind of international white driving licence?! !, with 10 usd per day, saying that my driving licence is UK. I showed my booking confirmation, we had a debate. In the end I decided to leave and not to pick the car as i was asked for at least 60 usd more than my rental agreement.

kayak should not put horesepower in this results, never happened before this nightmare.

I asked from the rental company a refund, they answered they are investigating. still waiting for an answer from vehicle-rent.com

what i did on the spot: i got back to the airport. At least Ana, from desk, offered me a free shuttle back.

at the airport, from my phone, on line, through kayak i did another booking, this time with Alamo, Alamo's office next to me in the airport. No shuttle. I paid just a bit more but it was stress FREE. and no fraudulent extras to rub me like horsepower.
With Alamo, no extra insurance, just standard, no block on my card, nothing extra to pay, no problem with a uk permit, as normal, no daily rubbing payment for using the sunpass (onlypay if you use what you use), free upgrade, all so easy, normal, stress free. thanks Douglas from Alamo, you are the man! And Alamo is the best ever rental companies.
