I've bought quite a few items now from Housing Units and always find the experience, service, staff, products and delivery absolutley excellent.
My latest delivery was a large dinning table that I purchased in the January sale, its absolutley stunning. I knew the lead times on my particular choice of table and was happy to wait. I'm so glad I did. Its stunning, and the massive price reduction makes it even better!
Also a revolving Christmas tree base that was half price. My grandkids will love it come Christmas time.
Shout out to all the lovely staff but especially to Lee and Jake, who delivered it. They were so lovely, professional and set the table up in my room of choice. It was a really heavy piece but they handled it, placed it and set it all up with ease. Excellent lads, thank you.
Thanks Housing units too. Keep those standards high. It's such a rarity these days and its highly appreciated, which is why, despite living in Sheffield, I keep coming back. Though I do love the cafe and robot server too!
Absolutley 5 star star all round. Highly recommend.

We purchased a glass dining room table, 8 chairs and 2 bar stools recently.
The glass table was set up. A week later, the first time we sat at the table, we noticed several scratches in the glass.
We reported this to the people at Housing Units and were told that as we hadn’t reported the damage within 24-48 hours, they were not willing to help,
Very disappointed with the poor quality of service. I wouldn’t buy from them again, especially not a glass table. If you do buy one, check it thoroughly before the delivery men leave

He also explained that the actual fire labels were attached to the bottom of the suite which nobody explained to us before.

The lead time quoted was nowhere near to the time we waited and we ordered 6 dining chairs one of which is smaller in size on the plus side it’s a lovely table and chairs at a reasonable price
We purchased 5 items of oak furniture and when these were delivered only 4 items were already built.
One item, a two door oak wardrobe, arrived flat-packed, which we had not been informed was the case as the sales person had told us the wardrobe was in the warehouse but not that it would need building when delivered to us.
When the delivery men arrived they talked about how heavy the furniture was and also there was no way they'd be able to put together the wardrobe because of lack of space. The delivery men did not appear to want
to erect the wardrobe, even though small items of furniture could easily have ben moved out of the spare bedroom. They left us with a very heavy piece of furniture in kit form.
We should have been informed prior to delivery that the wardrobe would need to be erected at our home.
Customer Services were hopeless as they referred us back to Sales when contacted about our issue, even though we'd already informed them that Sales had told us the wardrobe should not have been delivered in kit form. It was obvious that "Customer Services" did not want to deal with the matter.
Very respectful speedy and would give
Lee & David 10 out of 10 for delivery and assembly of table & chairs

Found a sofa in store and ordered online. The lead time was stated as 4 weeks and this was confirmed on my email receipt. No other correspondence was received in the next 4 weeks, so I emailed, I was gleefully informed that the delivery was on track in a further 5-7 weeks. I immediately cancelled the order and got my despoit back. Customer service was slow to respond and offered nothing in the way of a solution, the apology felt forced.
Housing Units keep very little stock and order direct from China. Take no notice of delivery lead times, this is a ploy to get your money in their bank only to disappoint.
The service was terrible staff were rude
When I went to pick up the fire , would not help ,also it was lot of space in my van he insisted that I should pay for delivery another
£95 . Never going to this place again
