Hozelock Pulsar Plus 7 faulty - twice in 2 days…
I purchased a Hozelock Pulsar Plus 7 Litre spray online from a well known DiY store. When It was delivered I initially had problems getting any pressure to build up however this resolved itself but it was clear that there was a leak with the air escaping. I returned the product to a local branch and they were happy ti replace it without question. On getting home and assembling it I once again had problems building up any pressure. The literature supplied was of minimal assistance but I finally discovered how to take the plunger apart and found that the sealing o ring on the shaft was not in place. Once I had fitted this correctly everything worked fine. You have to ask what sort of quality control is in place at Hozelock if two items obtained from different branches both appear to have the same fault

In July I purchased two Hozelock expanding and contracting hoses. When seeking advice in B&Q about the products, I was advised against purchasing hoses as they are poor quality - the language was slightly more choice!
Agains that advice, I bought two hoses. Both failed almost immediately, each developing spectacular leaks. I returned to B&Q twice to make exchanges, which was fairly painless and without quibble.
Unfortunately, the new hoses both failed almost immediately, a matter I brought to the attention of Hozelock’s customer service team. That was a month ago, and then followed a thread of obfuscating emails from Hozelock who sought to swerve full liability and suggested the matter would be passed to the products team for review. I complained saying in the circumstances I wished for Hozelock to replace the hose. Again further obfuscation because I was unable to produce the original receipt but eventually, I was advised if I sent a copy of the serial number that would suffice. In accordance lwith their request I did exactly as requested; the serial number would demonstrate the product was new. Today, I have been advised Hozelock will replace the product but it will have no guarantee. Given I have now suffered three failures of product within five weeks I consider the way the matter has been dealt with and now supplying me new product without guarantee is shocking.
If you intend to buy Hozelock products your decision may well be informed by my experience.
Ordered parts for my Hose 8 ago
Ordered parts for my Hose 11 days and 8 working days ago with the items being delivered. The tracking system provided doesn't work. The Chat system can not answer the problem of non delivery. the response time is up to 7-10 working days to emails Phone lines only open M-F up to 2pm
So slow!
Ordered products via their website. After a week they had managed to pick items and after another week still no sign of a delivery. Contacting customer support was a waste of time. Come on Hozelock - Amazon can deliver next day
Utterly hopeless product.
I recently spent a fortune on a Hozelock Autoreel hose system. What a conplete disappointment. It will not rewind automatically as the misleading name suggests. However the really anoying thing is that I threw out a perfectly good manual wind version at the same time. I would strongly advise people to avoid wasting their hard earned cash on this worse than useless thing. Absolute rubbish.

Started off ok after assembling but when I came to use the reel it was difficult to unwind the reel to access the Hose, if I pulled the hose further into the Garden the whole reel attempted to follow and disconnect from tap. Worse was to follow, when I tried to reel the Hose back it became almost impossible to wind the back, and the reel assembly handle became almost impossible to operate, as the hose jammed up on the Reel. As I am Elderly this was the wrong type for me as I have an earlier type with aluminium cradle and wish I had stayed with it.
Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. My hose reel broke and I claimed for a replacement. What a hassle. I'm still trying to get it sorted out weeks later, you can't actually talk to anybody as the line goes dead. Automated emails with no decent information. My advice is don't buy from them, they are shoddy and not with the money.

Dreadful customer service! The website quotes a phone number which is 01213131122; rang three times on 2/8, listened the recorded message then the line went dead each time! Wanted to make a guarantee claim which I now have to email about. Awful service!
Exceptional ervice
Great service. My Hozelock hose, 3 years old, developed a leak and was replaced under the 5 year guarantee within a week. Service was exceptional and Sean was extremely helpful. You deserve a great review.
Useless spray triggers throughout their range
I bought a 12 litre backpack sprayer 5 years ago. It's basically used 3 to 4 times per year for a total of 1 hour. And just for liquids.
The trigger spray failed 3 years in and I immediately had issues getting a replacement as their schematic didn't list it and implied it was redundant. Their website hadn't been updated for close to 2 years at the time. I 'phoned them and eventually sourced an identical replacement which has again failed after minimal use.
The website now lists the trigger as redundant but gives no options on alternatives. There are a number of other triggers, on other sprayers, which look to be potential replacements but inevitably are also missing from the relevant spares schematic.
I eventually took a punt on a freestanding trigger unit, put it in the cart and went through the chore of registering, to find an absence of PayPal etc. As soon as I entered my CC details their payment provider validation failed and invited contact with the retailer. The failure was too quick to be an evaluation and clearly was a constant at that time. Rang Hozelock - automated message to the effect 'lots of calls and very busy' and was cut off.
Useless. Don't know how they stay in business. Clearly can't manufacture reliable spray triggers and happy to leave you with a useless £100 backpack sprayer - which either can't spray - or won't stop!

Amongst other Hozelock products, I have a Promo 7L sprayer and although of indeterminate age, is perfectly serviceable. I have used it every year to spray weedkiller on my block paving, but this year the large rubber O-ring which makes the pump assembly air-tight has perished in several places, so I ordered a "HOZELOCK - Service Kit Pression Sprayer Standard & Plus : Spares Kit, Suitable for 5, 7 And 10 Litre Sprayers, All the Parts Needed to keep your Sprayer in Perfect Condition [4126 0000]" from a popular online retailer. When it came and I opened it, there was no appropriately sized O-ring, so I contacted Hozelock to explain the problem and quoted my model (even included pictures). Several days later, they responded with "Thank you for your query. Unfortunately, the product you have is obsolete and we no longer produce or stock any spare parts for this I'm afraid. We do not have access to them dimensions either. I apologise for any inconvenience by this.". Now, whilst I accept that products do become obsolete and spares may be difficult to obtain, I think it's inexcusable not to be able to provide dimension details of obsolete components; it shows a total disregard for customer confidence and loyalty. I have ordered a couple of O-rings from a supplier and hope I've got the dimensions correct.

I recently snagged an excellent deal on Amazon for the Hozelock 50M. The delivery was swift, arriving within 2 days, but unfortunately, some accessories were missing. I promptly reached out to Hozelock’s customer service, providing them with all the necessary order details. To my delight, they were incredibly helpful and quickly arranged to send the missing parts.Thanks to Alfie @ Hozelock for excellent customer service. As someone who has been using Hozelock products for years, I can vouch for their quality and durability
Awful business practices: legitimate warranty claim flatly denied!
I contacted customer support regarding a defective gun, and they promptly denied any responsibility, attributing the issue to frost damage. I explained that this couldn't be the case as I had stored it in a heated garage. Upon their request for additional pictures, I provided them, leading to an abrupt reversal in their stance. They initiated the warranty replacement process, implicitly acknowledging their initial misdiagnosis. Regrettably, there was no apology; instead, they requested the invoice. Upon submission, they claimed that the seller I purchased from was not within their approved list, leaving me without support.
This incident revealed their true approach—initially blaming customers for subpar products. Furthermore, despite quietly conceding to the warranty replacement, they found a dubious way to evade honoring the claim. This behavior contradicts my perception of them as a reputable and trustworthy brand. It appears they fall short of such a reputation.
I strongly advise against purchasing Hozelock products and urge others to stand against these questionable business practices."
Poor quality rubbish
Poor quality rubbish, that is their hose nozzle, the orange and grey plastic nozzle is very very poor quality, if you drop these on the ground it just splits, on my third nozzle, lasted a week and split, utter rubbish.

First Class Customer Service
Used the Hozelock Spares website to order a replacement part for my 40m Fast Reel. An issue arose with the order and the part was not dispatched. Within 48 hours of raising the matter with Customer Services I had received the part.
