Simply Doesn't Work

Terrible service.
Terrible Communication. Terrible web portal. Full of bugs.
How is this not in Beta testing phase and how is RBC bank presenting this as an actual solution to its clients?
If you don't want to hurt your reputation or your company's, look for some other provider.

Big theft - bit scam - shareholders stole millions

The shareholders have stolen all the money, dismissed people, a big scam. It was planned from the beginning. Shareholders were registered at addresses which did not exist.
Hong Kong police? Did not do anything when the case was reported. What a shame in a country which calls itself democratic and having a proper law and order...

Jetzt , heute, ist die Plattform gesperrt. Man kann nicht mehr öffnen. Jede mail kommt wieder zurück. Also isst auch das mail Konto auch gesperrt.
Ich werde noch wahnsinnig.

story behind i-account

it's not that they took your money and left. it's not even a scam.

i-account is an e-wallet service and not a bank account to begin with. Having said, i-account/payedge is not a bank, they're registered as a money remittance platform only.

the reason why it's taking way too long for people to withdraw their money is because of some factors :

1) some partner banks who used to work as an intermediary bank for i-account in order for them to move the money (because again, i-account is not a bank so they have to use real banks in order to move funds from and to a real bank account), took most of the company's money and left. In short, i-account was actually robbed (in a way).

with that in mind, i-account doesn't have that much funds to cover for all the money of their customers. so what happens is that when a new client deposits money, that's the money that they use for the others to withdraw their money. and the cycle goes on... until the number of on-boarded clients decreased and eventually due to all the delays, no one opened an account with them anymore. Which of course affected everyone who were trying to withdraw their funds. There were no more deposits, so there were no more money to use in the cycle.

2. i-account has been flagged numerous times as an entity who supports money laundering. this is mainly because around 60-70% of their clients are really money launderers. it became an avenue for sketchy companies/individuals to wash their money. deposit the dirty money, then withdraw it as clean and washed money. simple and no trace.

being flagged by most banks globally, they can then only partner with banks who are small and who operates in the remote areas such as Kenya. (these are the same banks who took their money and left). There are actually pending legal cases against these banks but of course, being very remote, it's very hard to take back the money.

i'm sharing this to give you a better picture of what really happened with i-account, and why they are struggling to give the funds back to their clients. their company in Manila even closed and had to lay off everyone, because of the same issue --- there is no money left.

DON'T USE I-ACCOUNT !!!!!
I have now had an I-account for more than two years and have been happy to use it (very expensive fees) because I have had no problems with the use of there I-card and the support has always been very good. But at the June 10th 2019 they suddenly closed all functions on I-account so you it was not possible to do anything, no transfers internal or international. No warnings was given !!!. Now they open after more than 3 month so now I wanted to take out my money. First they had to approve my bank (3 weeks) and then I was able to do the transfer, but then they said they need 2 weeks to do a Due dilligence and after that a 3-5 banking days of Remittance periode and then they will execute my tranfer. ???? But after all that waiting nothing happens and there support don't answers anymore.
SO DON'T USE I-ACCOUNT

Payedge Limited / i-account Scam / Fraud

I'm in a similar situation to most people here. I haven't been able to carry out any transactions on my account since June 2019.

I have opened a case with the Financial Ombudsman in the UK against Prepaid Financial Services who are providing the prepaid Mastercards to Payedge. I have also reported both companies to Mastercard

Does anyone here know what bank(s) Payedge Limited / i-account use?

I see Payedge has an address in Hong Kong. Does anyone know how to report a fraud in Hong Kong?

Any assistance appreciated.

Total FRAUD

Total FRAUD. They have stolen thousands of dollars from our company. Over 1 year now and they continue to give stories. PAYEDGE LIMITED, i-ACCOUNT, now Circle Pay LLC... all scams.

Worst banking company I have ever used

Worst banking company I have ever used, not even worth 1 star. To open a accout they require too many documents, I deposited 20 000$ to them with my company. It have now been 6 months since the deposit and I have still not got a reply about when the money will arrive into my account or if I will get a refund. I have contacted them over 10 times about it and not even received an answer yet.

Agree with all the bad reviews.
I have a company account with iAccount and trying to get my money out and close it for 8 months now.
Every time you make a transfer, they ask for additional documentation which when submitted is never satisfactory.
The customer support is very bad, slow and useless on support to get your money transferred.
Stay away from them! For sure you will regret it when you open an account with them.

By far the worst financial „service“ in the world.

I-account (the banking platform from Payedge) is by far the worst banking platform on the planet.
The banks they do business with do not trust them one bit and require loads of documentation and information to account for every single transaction. And if that is not bad enough, the support and banking teams from I-account are not capable of handling things. Which all in all results in extremely slow processing, if at all.
I‘ve had two transactions from an I-account to my private accounts which took over four months (!), with the one finally being processed and the other one being refunded without comment.
And of course, the transaction costs were not refunded.
I was about to file an official complaint with the Hong-Kong financial authorities, but had a long call with someone from the recently established service team, who promised me that processes had been changed and things would run normal by the end of April.
But no way. Tried a transfer four weeks ago. Was informed a week later that documentation for the transfer was needed, as well as information about the business I’m in. Which is something they have known for over a year now, I gave them full details about my business when I opened the account with them.
Anyway, all needed information was sent to them over a week ago and I haven’t heard from them since.
If you need a bank or banking platform, stay away from I-account. One star is definitely too much for them.
It‘s amazing, that for some reason, trustpilot shows two stars for them, when all I can see (and understand) is one star ratings.

after many attempts at ultimatum I managed to get all my money, I do not advise you fully to do business with this company,
I had blocked card and blocked account, but through the prepaid financial service ltd and ultimatum to contact the mastercard company, I managed to have everything, so I advise you to stay away from them.

I tried to make a money transfer using their services but at the end of the day i was never able to make a transfer or withdraw my money.

Do not trust this guys with your money.
