Rip off and be warned (unlike me).

Firstly, you will get messages as soon as you create a profile. The messages will soon dry up.

The moment you consider cancelling or voice any issue to admin, messages will start coming through again.

There are definitely admin operated accounts to keep you hooked to the illusion that women are responding/messaging you. These accounts are pics of attractive women with pixelated faces (always) but never a private gallery. Also their responses don’t always tally up with the messages received and go silent, until you kick off about cancelling your membership.

There are real women on the platform but 30% want a sugar daddy. Most of the rest are distinctly mid (self described chubby etc…) but spoilt for choice with male users so only entertain you if you a top 10% in looks on the site (tall etc…). A proportion of users only exist to troll you, soaking up the validation that 100s of DMs provide them and objectively rude/have no interest in actually engaging with a man.

I tried to get a refund. Even only a partial refund 2 days in to using the site as a premium user after realising but was denied.

I’m considering doing a chargeback. But in summary be warned, if you’re in the UK and can make it past the fake accounts and seemingly admin operated accounts, if you’re not a bloke that gets looks from women when you walk down the street, just don’t bother. Also if you happen to be an ethnic minority, especially don’t bother.

This site is a complete rip off, I think nowadays it’s a set up by the website themselves as you get messages and then they vanish on you plus loads of fakes and scammers
What I found really interesting was that when I cancelled my account and removed all payment details, suddenly I start getting tons of messages which tells me the whole thing is a set up just to get your money

IE has been great for me. Although not everyone replies to messages those that did were genuine and real. More importantly I did meet a few members and they were lovely. As long as everyone is respectful and understanding then this site works well and you will be able to meet someone, as I did.
I was lucky enough to find a lovely lady and we meet regularly and even been on holiday together. When we join we all hope to find our match and perhaps sail/drive/walk off into the sunset holding hands and smiling. Luckily for us we did (we actually took a plane!).
If you are hesitating joining, thinking you won't find what you want, or believe that all members are fake then don't, as my experience says that you can be successful.

The company uses underhanded tactics to get men to sign up. Within moments of signing up you will receive a gift from someone. Hold off for a bit on paying for the upgrade and you will receive another message but to view it, you’ll need to upgrade. I’ve experimented three times with three seperate profiles and it happens each time. Which leads me to believe these teaser profiles are operated by admin.

Then it is either FOMO takes over and you upgrade to see the messages you have received or you leave it.

Thereafter messages will dry up. Don’t get me wrong, there are genuine women there looking for a connection but the numbers of genuine women who aren’t hookers or women looking for their rent to be paid is limited and unless you’re objectively in the top 10% of men, your chances are slim.

We all know even an objectively ‘ugly’ woman can still get laid but an objectively ’ugly’ man doesn’t stand a chance

So my advice is don’t bother and find another means of having an affair.

Charges a lot of money and lot of fake people and scams

Total scam and disingenuous. The concept is good but the admin staff have failed to weed out the very high numbers of fakes. Most of the messages are from 'professional ladies'. When I complained to IE they weren't interested. As long as they get your money they don't appear to care.

I give one star because I have to give something. Guys a complete waste of, not an inconsiderable monthly sum. The contacts, and I refrain using the term ladies because I don’t believe most are genuine ladies. My honest belief this is all about fleecing guys for all they.

As usual with these sites, great for women, not so great for men. But this one particularly in favour of women!

I've been on ie for a few years. When I started to turn down women, because I had too many options, suddenly I was shadow banned. No more views to my profile, no more contact, 0.

As so many others have said, a complete scam . 90 per cent fake profiles

They helped matched me with a very lovely Ladly which we both have a lot in common so it’s now up to us to make it workm

IE is the only site if it’s kind. Spent ages reviewing the other two alternatives, which did not compare well. Used IE for over 10 years now, to meet two lovely ladies.

The ladies are there but you need to court them in the traditional way! A direct sexual approach is not the answer.

There are fake profiles, ladies of the night, and males masquerading as females.When reported to IE admin, they took the issues seriously and quickly. In all reports theses profiles were removed within a few hours.

An outstanding site and service. The site delivered and am very happy with a lady that I met, where there clearly is chemistry!

Same people, same fake people. Don't waste your time, dont waste your effort, don't use this site.
Not only that, they took £99 out my account today today. I asked for a refund, the answer was no

Scam…… we were hacked and a cat fish account created, with my Husbands details and a picture. ( we have proof of hack) so it’s not my husband pretending he was hacked. It’s - shocking site, and could have easily ended our marriage.

Terrible site with 90% fake profiles controlled by bot. Most women appear to be university educated with and MSc working in HR.

It's a farce and a fraud. I have reported the matter to my bank as this is fraud. They have deliberately mislead their audience.

Stay well clear and do pay their extortionate fees.

The site promotes itself as a safer, more secure site than many other dating sites but isn't - it pulls the same scams and stunts as the worst of the rest but charges men (women are free) a lot more to do so.

On the home page it claims it has been used by over 1,581,640 genuine UK users since 2003. This is something that is impossible for them to verify since you are routinely messaged by fake and bot profiles that the site shows little enthusiasm or ability to prevent and relies on user complaints to do so. Around 80% of the female profiles on the site are inactive and have been for a long time and the site tries to disguise this by showing on their profiles a last active date of between 24 hours to 5 days, then after that uses something like 'Last Active: Waiting for Mr Right' or 'Last Active: She's waiting for you!' that can cover anything from 6 days to 6 years.

The site also creates fake profiles to boost numbers and act as 'fluffers' contacting men who have signed-up but not paid to allow them to read and send messages. They message, you pay to read and reply, you never hear from them again. However, these profiles are fairly easy to spot and avoid, using the same types of photos and overly-florid style of profile text.

The site could implement some very simple features to improve the male experience, like blocking the use of URLs in messages or allowing you to prevent contact from people outside your preferred age range and location to prevent a lot of the spam and scam contacts, but don't and won't answer questions about this (or many other things) when you contact support leaving you to suppose that since this site is about making money by attracting men to a place where there are lots of women, decreasing the number of women would decrease the number of men.

They could make women pay but if they did, they wouldn't join at all and neither would any men.

It is possible to have a good experience here but as a man, the odds are very much against you.

It's poor, scammy and expensive - you have been warned.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. The site is full of auto-generated profiles, auto generated messages to encourage an expensive upgrade just to read them, no attempt to monitor the profiles to detect outright fraud and prostitution. The "forum" is a joke and so is their matchfinder. Don't bother even registering, let alone parting with any cash for membership

This site is a scam as soon as you put your profile on there and then allow that profile to be viewed yiu are then bombarded by women with profiles which are provocative which you genuinely believe are interested in your profile as soon as you hit the upgrade button they disappear..

I also agree with other reviewers that there are so many scam profiles on this site it is very hard to No which profiles are real

This is not a site I would recommend in any shape or form if you are male

Been on and off the site for years, meet some lovely women on there. Sadly there are a lot of fakes and scammers moving in over the last few years but that is true of every site. Slight downside is it's not cheap for men! That was good for keeping out problem men that spoilt it for the rest of us but as woman go on free (my understanding) it doesn't discourage scammers and professionals. Increasing numbers of mistresses on there; fine if that's your thing. Also it does auto renewals which I think should be banned, although in fairness if you ask to cancel they do and you get the rest of the month you paid for so that's fair

The site has some actual ladies but most seem like bots asking the same questions to probably loads of different guys and not answering any questions in return.
IMO save your money!!
