IMS Vintage Photos Avis 14

I was informed by IMS in late 2024 that the company was closing down and restarting in 2025 in a different format. I have ordered photos on several ocassions for many years and never had any problems. Last time I ordered was in November 2024, six photos. Received five of them in a week or two. The missing photo was - according to a note in Icelandic on the order confirmation sheet - not found in the folder where it should have been. Tried to contact the company for a refund, but got no answer. At last I got a refund via PayPal. But I think this slight problem was a result of the ongoing closing down of the company.

Ordered and paid for a photo, it never arrived and now their email doesn't work, terrible service, don't bother ordering from them!

My experience was positive. The photos I ordered were delivered as promised and are originals. Delivery was swift and without any hassle.

IMS Vintage Photos, based in Iceland, doesn't pay their workers on time, suddenly fired everyone without 30 day notice and closed side branch because didn't bother paying rent, taxes, workers wages etc. I didn't receive wages, unused vacation days and compensation for sudden termination, which I should receive by my country's laws.
Constant delays for orders over the years was because CEO didn't bother to give money on time for envelopes, certificates, pay post office fees etc.
Promised to pay wages, unused vacation days, but those were lies. How easy to run a company these days. Just use cheap labour in another country and when things get hard, just forget about them. Who cares to pay workers, taxes, rent, internet connection etc.

Worst shop ever!! First they sell you photos they don’t have in stock, then take ages to refund you, had to get PayPal to help! THEN they use your email as the delivery address written on the packages they send you, which of course mean they can’t be delivered! And is returned to them. NO reply from them! NO help!
When it’s all seller fault!

Having had problems with this company at least three times now (I know – I should have learned!) based on my experiences I would recommend approaching with great caution.
My last purchase was for four photos direct from their website, which I paid for on 19th June. On 26th June I received an email telling me that three of them couldn’t be found and asking if I wanted a refund, which I asked for, also telling them in no uncertain terms how unimpressed I was about this happening yet again.
Those three missing photos however are STILL showing as being "In Stock" (one with two copies available!) on the website — even now — so it still hasn’t been updated after this was discovered and anyone else could have the same problem with them!
To make matters worse, despite being assured by email that the refund was on its way on at least five occasions without receiving it, ultimately on 15th August I had to resort to making a claim through PayPal and finally received the refund on 25th August — over two months after making my payment.
As I say, this is at least the third time I’ve had problems with photos being unavailable, only this time getting my money back was that much harder. I won’t be using this company again!

IMS VINTAGE PHOTOS are selling newly machine photo copies as Vintage Pictures. They dont answer mail or chat functions. . Told me that a refund of 29.90 dollars was on the way. But no refund money turns up.

Purchase didn’t show up. Became suspicious when dispatch details contained a link to “Latvia tracking” app. No reply from customer service email address. Luckily I paid using PayPal so I’ve obtained a refund via them

So far terrible.
Ordered a photo in December! Still nothing and short and ambiguous answers from them in email.

Will look into this.

Avoid this seller. They don't send the photos you pay for. They don't refund your money. SCAMMERS. My worst ebay experience has been with them.

I ordered 2 photos and only received one. No update on the second. I have been waiting for over a month. Bad company.

This is NOT a serious company! I paid and ordered a photo over two weeks ago. I have recieved NO update on the delivery. I had to email them about it and recieved an short answer that my shipment was still in transit. Nothing more. But they keep spamming me with commercial emails. Every single day.. if i dont recive my fully prepaid order i will take legal action.

The only positive review is based on island… strangely enough, when the company is based on island.. shitcompany
