Italmente Avis

Italian is packed with complex rules, endless conjugations, and multiple ways to say the exact same thing, which felt overwhelming to us as English speakers. I cannot recommend Italmente highly enough! My husband and I have been taking lessons with them for several months, and we are truly amazed by how much progress we’ve made.
Living in the States while trying to manage a huge home renovation project in Southern Italy felt overwhelming, especially since most local contractors only speak Italian. Francesco went above and beyond to help us communicate directly with several Italian contractors over the summer. His assistance was completely invaluable, accommodating, and crucial to getting our home project completed smoothly.
Our primary tutor, Manuela, is absolute perfection. She is incredibly patient, gifted at breaking down complex language concepts into clear, understandable steps, and genuinely invested in our progress. Because we travel frequently across different time zones, we’ve had to adjust our lesson times continuously—yet Manuela has been seamlessly adaptable every single time. She even customizes our curriculum around real-life scenarios we encounter while traveling in Italy, making every lesson practical and immediately useful.
We initially came to Italmente after they were highly recommended by another American (Tania) who became fluent in Italian through their program, and they have exceeded every expectation. Whether you need language instruction, real-world cultural practice, or expert interpreting services, Italmente is the absolute best!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Due to work commitments I have to take a few weeks break from Italmente lessons and boy will I miss them. I have had about 8 weeks with them so far and I seriously cannot recommend Francesca my instructor highly enough, she makes each lesson varied and fun and most importantly she has so much patience. Lesson materials are excellent, communication is impeccable with Francesco who is so helpful and accommodating. I am counting down the days until I can continue with stage 2 Italian....and also to visit Italy and put it all into practice. It's great to find a company who take such pride in their service. If you are on the fence about starting with Italmente...do it, you absolutely won't regret it!

Amazing school! The teachers are native, professional, and very friendly. The platform is easy to use, lessons are flexible, and the study materials are super helpful. Highly recommend Italmente!

Matilde is a great teacher. Patient and friendly. Francesco the creator of italmente is equally awesome. I was really impressed how willing to help he is if I have a questions, and how I am NOT ignored just because I’ve already purchased my lessons . I’m enjoying my lessons immensely and I’m off to Catania soon so I can’t wait to immerse myself in culture and try out what I’ve learned!

It's a great pleasure to learn Italian with Italmente. Elena - my teacher - is very friendly and professional, the lessons are tailored to my needs and most importantly - I see the results. I can highly recommend this language school. The lessons are based on the "Nuovo Espresso" books, which provide a good structure. Each lesson can be easily booked via the online portal.

Laura, my Italian teacher, showed up even when she was ill. The best insegnante!

I highly recommend the Italmente language school. Very attentive to every request, always available, the prices are very fair. I studied with an excellent teacher and I also participate in a conversation practice group. I continue with them and hope to reach a very high speaking level

This is a great online language school. Well-structured and organized with friendly and competent mother tongue teachers. I'm enjoying my time when having lessons.

I enjoy the lessons with my teacher Micaela and I’m making good progress. It’s fun and very professional. Basis for the lessons are the books “Nuovo Espresso”, but every lesson can be customized on demand.
What I also like, is the very easy to use Webportal for scheduling my lessons as well as the web based purchasing and payment process. I’m happy I’ve decided for Italmente!

I found this school for my 7 years old son, and I should say he is lucky one! Every lesson he waits and happy to study with his teacher Andrea. I see fast results! We are completely satisfied! I especially recommend to learn Italian with Italmente!

Francesco was my Italian teacher for several weeks and it was a pleasure!
He knows what is doing and is very friendly. I learned the basics but also how to handle a real conversation. I would definitely recommend Italmente!

This is the best online Italian school! Excellent teachers, very convenient interactive learning system. They're what you need if you value your time and the quality of teaching

I am very happy with Italmente and feel that they deserve this 5 star review. The online portal for booking is simple and efficient and Eugenio my teacher has an excellent approach and technique which is showing significant improvements in my knowledge of Italian. I’m now investing in an additional lesson package which shows my confidence and satisfaction!
