Journey Clinical Avis 

I like the organization and the information I receive. I like being connected to other therapists in this space however I don’t see the value for the monthly membership. I have only ever received one referral from JC. All my clients have been my own from my existing practice. It seems as though I could find a local prescriber to refer clients to receive the prescription and not pay a fee to them. Clients pay for the medical consultations, so I’m not really sure why we are charged so much to be able to send THEM referrals. I am staying only because they have started accepting insurance for the medical consultations which makes treatment more accessible to my clients.

I love the consistent contact via group and occasional individual emails, and the opportunities to deepen my learning in so many ways! And I love my contact with Lizzie Mears - she's a wonderful support who is responsive and so capable of helping with enthusiasm. I also find using the JC portal easy and simple - a HUGE accomplioshment!

I enjoyed the trainings and community for support and education/information but the cost associated with doing the work is confusing- medical professionals get paid to do the work with JC while therapists PAY

I feel very supported as a psychotherapist and my clients report appreciating the compassionate and collaborative care

As a licensed psychologist for 20 years, I have never seen something change the mental healthcare world like the psychedelic psychotherapy re-emergence. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy would not be possible without the expert training and medical collaboration with the Journey Clinical team. I’m thrilled to be a part of this program so that I can offer my clients this transformative therapeutic approach.

Journey has been amazing! They are concerned about my clients' experience by supporting me as a therapist. They are kind and professional and get you the answers that you need.
My own therapeutic experiences have been excellent because I trust what is happening with Journey and that allows me to be a better human being all around.

Overall good but could be so much better

There are so many good things to Journey such as the ease of their website, the trainings they offer, the support documents provided, the community that it offers a space for, and its diversity. However some growth points would be a more sophisticated platform to communicate with the clients treatment team in a more timely manner, a website to provide clients with to search for KAP providers, additional prescribers so wait times are not so long, more of a treatment team approach to care, and more explanation to clients about the process who come through Journey first. Overall I am pleased, I have not put much focus on this aspect of my business so I cannot complain that it has not grown.

I love this community and the work that Journey Clinical is doing by making this therapy a lot more accessible than ever before. I have seen KAP change lives and it wouldn't be possible without JC. JC and its psychiatry providers are quick to problem-solve & consult on cases when needed. The platform is easy to use and I have really enjoyed the trainings, support, and CE credits available. I wish I gained more referrals for KAP from JC directly, I have had 1 from JC since starting about 1.5 years ago, the rest have come from my own practice and/or marketing efforts.

I met with Ili today and felt seen and valued. She was presenting some opportunities to me and gave me feedback about her experience with me that was meaningful and helped to validate that my values and who I am as a person is coming through in my interactions as a human and not only as a clinician. Journey Clinical has created and reinforced some great new structures that are very responsive, timely, and show their commitment to supporting healing for everyone.

Choosing to use ketamine with your clinic has been by far the best decision I’ve made for my mental health. I am grateful for the psychiatrist and my therapist for the support and success I’ve received from everyone involved with my journey. I can honestly say, I’ve had a lot more good days than bad. That’s a wonderful feeling.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been knowledgeable, helpful, professional and pleasant. And so many resources!! It’s great!

Journey Clinical has great training through Fluence. Journey Clinical has been responsive and proactive in providing services to members as well as patients.

They tell you they have therapists that take your insurance. They do not. Therapists seem to be quitting there left and right. I'm out a bunch of money for medication that I can't use and they won't refund or send it back. SCAM!

Issue #1: I signed up to get the medication through Journey Clinical and then receive psychotherapy through one of their networked providers, who I was told was in the network. Only after I paid the huge $$ fees did it turn out that none of the psychotherapists were in network, so I'm left with a huge bill, a bunch of ketamine, and no one to do my sessions.

Issue #2: Their platform is extremely buggy, messages often do not send, and the website crashes all the time. So it's extremely frustrating to deal with and not a pleasant experience.

Issue #3: The whole process is very complicated as it's not fully done by Journey Clinical; you get handed off to a third party to handle the prescription, which takes MONTHS to figure out as their process is a mess.

Overall, their customer service has been pretty awful, the website is a pain to navigate, the process is complicated, and it feels like a bait and switch when it comes to starting the actual therapy.
