DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I arrived at the shop he was talking to another customer like dirt. Said he was the only lawnmower shop around. That he will charge what he wants. Extremely high repair bills. I purchased this lawn moor from him. He then said it’s a rubbish model and not worth repairing. Insisting I bought a brand new model. He then took it in and broke it. Said I was talking sh*t. I have all the calls recorded. A vile man. Wife seemed lovely. However his customer service is shocking. NOW HE WONT REPAIR IT. After he broke it. Please go elsewhere

I’ve made a few online parts purchases for my Honda mower from GLC (latest part received today) and would highly recommend them. The part was reasonably priced, arrived the next day and when advice was needed on previous occasions the staff were very helpful.

I’ve just come off the phone to one of the most helpful people I’ve ever spoke to. I’ve spent 10 minutes with a guy called Trevor. He explained exactly how to fit the new engine. How to buy the new engine and what new engine to buy? I’ve never had such excellent customer service from such a helpful man while chatting we discussed the world of discounts. Trevor explained it’s very hard to discount when the price is what it is but for the sake of having such excellent service such excellent help and the guarantee if I ring for help he will help me further what’s £10 in life? I could’ve saved £10 but not had the help no add on costs just a great price. I would 100% recommend 100% use again, thank you very much indeed John. Trevor is the star of the day in my world. Thank you

This is the third lawnmower I've bought from here and another great choice guided by their great advice. What I really like is that the lawnmower will be put together for you and ready to mow. Prices are competitive too.

Ive tried 10 times to ask them a question online. Each time the "capture' box of moving a silly little picture into the correct box failed 10, yes 10 times! Even though it ticks when you get it right. Its a shame as I will now have to purchase my item elsewhere. Sorry but that silly thing has cost you a customer and im guessing a LOT more who have moved on and not bothered to let you know or leave a review.

Definitely the place to go when you require parts for your mower, they post super super fast, and at a reasonable price. Well done!

Great company, used them for a while, never anything but helpful and friendly. Enquired by telephone about a spare part for a Honda mower, was told someone would call me back and they did. Spent 25 minutes on the telephone with me, like talking to an old friend. Very helpful and very knowledgeable. Cannot praise them enough.

Gave GLC a visit today to go electric.....thinking of a change of hedge cutter to make it a bit easier in the garden as I'm 60 and not as strong as I used to be. My Petrol Stihl hedge cutter is booked in for a service as it has done me proud for about 10years and never missed a beat....cutting hedges like butter.....I've recieved Great Knowledge from Jemma & Trev....not sales patter.....great advice and a bit banter "punch n judy"....so long reach Stihl battery operated hedge cutter as well as a Stihl battery pruner (with a safety holster)..will make light work of some thick branches.."no I'll not pretend to be John Wayne Jemma"🤣😂.......great advice , good products...reasonable prices for semi professional and professional gear.....always willing to help.........thanks guys.....see ya's when my Petrol headge trimmer is made brand new again.x

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
I phoned this company to buy a new replacement blade for my Mountfield Mower. While they were pleasant, I was recommended the part to buy by them. When it arrived it was wrong and did not fit my mower. I contacted the company, who said it was my fault for buying the wrong part !!!. They said I could return it for a refund. The blade cost a total of £20.26 inc VAT and post, it cost me over £6 to return it. They refunded me £6.30 !!! so I am well out of pocket. I would have been better throwing it in the bin. A complete rip off, I took there advice, then returned as required. At the end of the day I am nearly £14 down through no fault of my own.

GLC came to the rescue of our football club Newcastle Dynamo FC today. Our lawnmower gave up the ghost today and they saved the day. Thankyou so much for your help today from all of us here

I received my item quickly but it was damaged. I sent two emails they say they never received them. I contacted them by phone and they said I could send the item back at my own cost. They also said these mass produced items are never perfect. I agree but felt a damaged item should never have been sent out in the first place. Peter who I spoke to was rude and abrupt. His attitude was lump it or leave it. He suggested the emails didn’t get through because my email company were at fault. They never have yet in 24yrs.

Having finally made the decision to buy a lawnmower, I practiced due diligence & trawled the old intraweb for recommendations given of battery operated versions, finally settling on Stihl after watching a number of YouTube reviews. Further trawling led me to GLC and having chosen to ignore the small number of ludicrous comments; well, based on my own experience, I popped across last Friday to be served by Trevor, an evidently highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual who listened carefully to my requirements and actually recommended exactly the same model that I had already decided to purchase based on all of the reviews; an easy sale. However, what I didn't expect was for him to fully assemble the mower for me; explain every facet of its operation and how best to maintain it to maximise its longevity. I was so impressed, I decided to buy the matching strimmer and, having jokingly suggested a BOGOF, was astonished to be provided a free battery. What more can I say!! My only disappointment is that I have to wait a couple of weeks before I can use my new toys, whilst Trevor has already set the blades at the required height so that I don't have to think about it. Brilliant!!

taking money for goods they do not have in stock in order to have the cash for back order items
says clearly on site 3 to 5 days but when called out on this was told no idea when item coming into stock now I have to wait 10 days for refund so no item or money moral is if you don't have the stock don't take the funds

Avoid like the plague

Not only did they have the mower batteries that I needed, when other suppliers failed to supply them: they were most helpful, and even sent me a picture of the unboxed batteries in order to ensure that I got what I wanted. Delivery was swift and secure. They are the go-to people, and no mistake. Brilliant.

I was very impressed with the excellent customer service I received when ordering a spare part. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. They gave me very good advice regarding my purchase and the item was delivered within a couple of days. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending GLC.

Ordered drive belt for mower at 3.30 pm Wednesday item dispatched 4.30, arrived Thursday, what more could one ask brilliant.

Brilliant. Easy site to navigate, wide range of spare parts and can order without having to open an account. Order received, well packaged, part as requested and delivered within 2 days of order. What's not to like? Would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.
