Unfortunately, after enrolling my daughters in AZVA through K12 I found out they dont adjust the curriculum for special education students. To be a public school you need to accommodate students who have special needs. They actually refuse to accommodate my daughters with IEPs. Totally unacceptable; my daughters are struggling and have to change schools delaying their education.

We are trying to return but are…
We are trying to return but are encountering problems because the software is mixing our old and new accounts. This has made it impossible for my son to attend. I have been reaching out to them since this past Sunday, 8/2. So far, my son hasn't been able to log in, and no one has offered any serious attempt at help. We'll probably return to his old school. AZVA used to be amazing, not anymore.

the enrollment process is streamlined and so easy. accessibility to the parents portal is a great to tool. the classroom schedule is very convenient. you have to bring your child to k-12!

Amount of homework for SPED students is extremely hard. Alternative assignments would be a huge help set up through online site.

Great school.
The only thing I would change is having more than two live classes a day. I feel like my child needs more than two live classes a day.

Best Online School
The school has always been there to assist with any problems we've had. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any question we may have. So glad that my kids were able to attend school here.

New Updates Made It Complicated
We have been with AZVA for over 10 years, and unfortunately, this has been the worst year yet. We originally chose this school because the website was flexible and easy for kids to navigate. The recent changes have made everything unnecessarily complicated. It’s a shame to end our long journey this way, but we are counting down the days until our final year is over.

Navigating change
I personally didn’t like the change of the dashboard at first but now that I’m able to understand how it works, I am starting to like how to navigate this whole system.
