K12 - Digital Academy of Florida Avis 

DAOF has been a total game changer for my special needs child. In our local school district(Putnam) there is absolutely no safe, suitable classroom for her individual needs, so I am grateful there are virtual options like K12. The teachers, admin staff, counselors and therapists are all top-notch and my child is thriving!

Excellent program, teachers, and organization.

I have always had a great experience with this school. My daughter has been going here since Middle School High School and going into her last year. The teachers and principal are AWESOME!! Very informative and always available for questions and answers. My husband and I agree we made the right decision.

As a mother of a special needs child this has been a great experience for me as well for him. If safety ever been a problem this virtual school make learning easy and accessible for the conform of home. Easy schedule to follow allowing my child to be in a easy step by step class at his level. Always encouraging participation and support in many ways. The parent teacher meeting are always so uplifting.

Great school. I have no complaints and three graduates from this school.

K-12 is a great school! Families have flexibility in their schedule, there are live class sessions however they can be done on the road with wifi connection or ask you teacher to allow the student to watch the recording. All assignments can be done early and most give the student multiple attempts to get a higher grade. Staff are helpful and energetic about their jobs. Only minor blemish, tech support can be hard to reach when the system has issues. Recommend K-12 highly!

Being very overwhelming for me last few months as a single Dad, and as a Learning Coach, my daughter couldn't have succeeded if it weren't for you all.

We love working with the Teachers and the K12 OLS, just wish messages between students were better monitored to prevent bullying.

We absolutely LOVE K12! We started during the pandemic out of necessity and tried going back to brick and mortar schools. We came back to K12 because we loved the teachers, staff, and the platform for classes/assignments is amazing. My son just graduated and my daughter is a freshman this year!
I recommend K12 to everyone!

There are many teachers that are not doing what they are supposed to . Very passive and treat their classes like a part time hobby.
Not good for our kids

I registered my child for the digital academy of Florida. Throughout the entire experience the teachers were active and attentive to the needs of my child. Though every need was not met immediately. It was understandable because there were many students in this program.
This past graduation season my child graduated. The digital academy didn't do a great job at organizing the ceremony. I have another child that was a student in Florida Virtual School. That ceremony was very well organized and was done nicely. If K12 could collaborate with FLVS on making there ceremonies run smoother K12 would have little to no complaints from me. I will also be doing this program a disservice by not mentioning that something needs to be done about having easier contact to guidance counselors. It was incredibly hard for my child to get help when needed.
Overall, despite the ups and downs that comes with any school. I would chose this path over and over again. I'm grateful that I learned about this institute and that I chose to enroll my child. I hope that anyone else who has a child will consider this path for their child's education.
