K12 - Indiana Gateway Digital Academy Avis 

INGDA is a great program and really works for our daughter. She has learned so much within the pressure of in person classes.

Simple! My son was not excelling at a public school. He was getting mostly D's there, and he was unhappy. So we switched him to K through 12, and it was the best decision we made. He excelled and is doing wonderful. He'll actually be graduating on May the 30th. So very proud of him.. and he wouldn't have gotten there. If it wasn't switching him to k through twelve.

I absolutely love the connection with my son's teachers. The way they are extremely understanding and caring really let's me know hes in good hands!! My son is Autistic and he has gotten more trusting with his teachers as the years went on :) Shout out to Miss. Kylie Shanholt. Shes so patient with our son and we just love her!!

Amazing, teachers are very supportive and communicated really well.

The whole school year has been a struggle since changing platforms. Looking for a different school at this point.

Absolutely love it here with the layer back online or offline choices. I have two trauma kids who need a little extra time some days so this helps so much .

My daughter has been home schooled for the last 5 yrs and I can honestly say we tried public school for 2 years and she has never succeeded the way she has being homeschooled. She excited to get in class,she loves her teachers and has great grades. The teachers are patient and helpful. Everyone is easy to get ahold of (text,email or phone) when help is needed. One mother I know has already switched her kids to INGDA with my help. Its been fantastic.

My son doesn't have an many issues with panic. The program is great for him because he has POTS and struggles to focus when his heart was beating fast. The program is designed for kids to success unlike community schools here where you take a quiz once and that decide if you pass or fail. I like that the kids have things they can work on at their own pace too. The teachers are great and very helpful.

This has been such a great learning experience for my daughter and so much more detailed for her. I'm so happy with you all, thank you for all you do.

Not much to brag about. It works for the next year…. My middle schooler will be finding a different program. My daughter has had MULTIPLE technical issues that go ignored when it comes to the attendance stuff- they’re too focused on attendance other than what’s truly important. I have made over twenty reports of issues where I’ve watched my child get on and do her school and then be counted absent for it. And the multiple emails asking for our income information- and other multiple emails daily is too much. It works for my daughters schedule though- she works basically full time and has multiple appointments and such so evening is her time to get online and do what she needs to do. We don’t have to worry about “live classes” and such.

Great program, easy to figure out how to get things done and find what needs done.

The school is teaching my son's that having a education is the best thing in life,, my 21 year old is graduating from the school next month in May and my youngest son is in the 3rd grade going into the 4th grade in August of this year... They love online school, they said that their teachers are the Best!!!!

It's convenient for my child and shes not getting bullied

Nice program, sort of flexible but they have some technical issues and aren’t willing to adjust “absent” status without proof of doing school work on that particular day however our requirement is to log in as we are in the flex program. If you want true flexibility this may not be for you.

We transferred to in person school and I filled out all of the paperwork to withdraw my child from k12 online.. I’ve told his counselor and teachers.. and yet I got a email with a threat to charge us with truancy over his unexcused absences, and a threat for the police to do a welfare check. We moved states!!! HE IS IN PERSON SCHOOL!!!!

Very well put together and advanced curriculum! I am sure the kids are held to higher standards here than in a public or private school. Great learning resources online such as 2 digital libraries, access all day to amplify and iready games. There is also access to the learning progress app if you feel your child needs extra materials for a certain skill. They offer optional small groups and/or tutoring with live teachers that teach using chunking strategies and a set routine so kids know what to expect and what is expected. The activities and tests are very detailed and really do help to keep track of what kids know and what they need extra help with. The teachers are very well prepared, have effective teaching strategies, a set routine, interactive activities, games, they are helpful to parents and students, and last but not least you can tell they are working together. My child has been attending this school for 3 years now. My child is excited to learn every day! That is enough for me! He always tells me he is happy to be learning online!

When I registered my granddaughter, it was in the wake of losing her parents and being diagnosed with epilepsy. She was not doing well in high school population. Her grades were bad. She not only excelled with online schooling , but her grades were so good. She was just accepted into nursing school!!
