K12 - Ohio Virtual Academy Avis 

Very helpful with my son (9th grader), always keeps him in track and working g with him when he needs help

So far my granddaughter been with virtual academy for 2 years now. And we love it we think the teachers are great. We still have some growing to do. Other than that my granddaughter love homeschooling with Ohio virtual academy. She said don't leave her teacher Ms Clemens Quinn and the rest she think you guys are great thanks for all your help God bless.Miss Wright

We have been doing online school since the pandemic. My daughter has the option every year to return to brick and mortar school, but she keeps choosing ohva. she likes her teachers and being able to work at her own pace.

I love how they nurture my daughter and show her patience as she is learning.

The teachers and staff members are phenomenal!!! They really care about the children. The staff calls me when my child is doing well. I receive emais daily from thr teachers about assignments and this help me as a learning coach to stay on top of things.

Every one on the staff is very helpful!!!!

We love the support from our teachers and love the k12 curriculum. As a LC to a first grader, I am happy that the kid-friendly look is back, but I miss the direct link/ button for live classes. If there could be a button on the home screen (like the one that takes you to the dashboard) or on the dashboard itself. K-2 students (and LCs) would appreciate less clicking to get to their live classes.

Teachers didnt commute my daughters grades until midterms..but then it was to late for her to fix it, she's 9 in grade 3 ... I think 3rd grade teachers should communicate with parents/ family/ who ever is learning coaches!

Everything went well all year long

Both my boys are thriving in this school. It's nice to be able to be more of a part of their education...teachers are spot on, the work is interesting and doable for my 2 boys .

There are so many choices for electives . The teachers offer all the extra help and support for work and over due work. They work with you to get it done. Being able to rewatch recordings is the best if you need to refresh. And everything has went smoothly for us .

There is nothing negative that can be said about this school. My daughter has gotten all the help and understanding she needs from every staff member here. Best decision moving her to OHVA!

Switching to this online school was exactly what my daughter needed to be successful. My daughter was dealing with several health issues that was causing major problems in a traditional school setting. From teachers not understanding to her missing a lot of school. I really appreciate the staff that has made her experience a good one and to get her to graduate high school. Thanks

They help the kids and parents with what they need my son been in for 3 years and loves it.. It’s nice to know that he can have time to do his work

We love the K12 schools, but I believe the teachers need to do better at communication with the families. Many times we go to get on a live video call and wait and wait and no word from teachers until 3 hrs later saying it's canceled.

Good teachers & a lot of extra help if needed.

My daughter does great in the classes but they switch platforms a lot and it's a hassle to learn it all over every time, And it's always very glitchy and buggy an inaccessible. Need more f2f events in southern Ohio. Always driving to Columbus to attend theirs.

The transition from going to physical school then going to homeschooling was so easy for my daughter Jasmine. She was not doing well with her grades when she went to school, but when she started homeschooling, her grades have been very good. The teachers are all wonderful and the experience for both of us has been great thank you so much everyone for all that you do!
