Stefan started to work with our son a few months before his GCSE Biology exam. Our son had been bored, struggling and performed poorly in his mock. Stefan’s energetic, friendly and focused approach helped improve performance in a very short time. He worked a little on content but the huge transformation for my son was on answer and exam technique which had been a frustrating area (previously he hadn’t translated content into marks due to the strict mark scheme). A very successful experience with Stefan indeed.

Helena is not just a teacher to our son, but a real mentor: someone with whom he can discuss books, language, ideas and literature at a high level. She recognises his ability, challenges him thoughtfully, and helps him develop greater confidence in his work. It is also clear to us how much our son enjoys his lessons with Helena and how much he looks forward to them.

We also greatly appreciate the very detailed emails Helena sends after lessons, explaining what they have worked on and how he is progressing. It gives us real confidence that she understands him and is carefully considering his development.

We feel very lucky to have met Helena. She is incredibly passionate about her subject and has a rare ability to understand very quickly what a child needs, challenge them in exactly the right way, and help them grow in both confidence and ability. In our view, an hour with Helena is one of the best investments a parent can make in their child's education.

Rick was an amazing tutor who really helped me through my IB HL AI Maths course. He could explain different concepts in multiple ways to help me understand them. I really enjoyed my lessons with him.

I worked with Andy for philosophy tutoring related to the (now gone) Oxford admissions test, the PhilAT, and interview practice. It was a helpful experience and Andy was extremely knowledgeable. In the real interviews, I found I was extremely comfortable having been pressed on taut logic relating to Putnam beforehand, which was far more difficult than what I truly had to do in the real interviews. I cannot recommend Geraldine highly enough as a biology tutor. She has been absolutely amazing throughout extremely well organised, professional, and consistently reliable. Her explanations are always clear and easy to understand, which has really helped build both confidence and understanding in biology. I’ve really enjoyed having Rishi Bagga as my tutor. He supported me in my IB SL Economics exams. He consistently made complex topics accessible by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps, and he always ensured I fully grasped each concept before we moved forward. HIs patient teaching style created a supportive learning environment, which made it much easier for me to engage with the material. The practice IB question papers he provided were especially useful, they gave me a realistic sense of what to expect on exam day and helped me build confidence in applying what I’d learned.
