Disappointing Experience with Mark's Handyman Services
I hired Mark for several handyman tasks, including hanging a poster on an exterior wall and building a box for my cat with a cat door. He also completed two other jobs. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with his work.
Firstly, he did not clean up properly after finishing the tasks. The box for the cat looks awful from the inside; it is poorly painted, and some pieces are missing. When I asked him to fix the issues or provide a discount, he refused and gave me excuses, such as claiming I should have specified if I wanted the box painted inside from the beginning. I didn't want it painted, but he made mistakes with cutting holes, leaving missing pieces and paint inside, which he didn't clean up.
Regarding the cleaning issue, his response was that the dust would be washed away by rain. It has rained three times, and the dust is still there. Additionally, after I didn't pay within five days, he sent a reminder and threatened to hire a bailiff if I didn't pay. This is ridiculous. I dislike when people charge a lot for their services and then deliver subpar work.
