Launchbox App Avis 4

You need me to put in my email in order for me to download your launcher???? WHAT?!?!?

TLDR; Launchbox, an app for launching games, has bible quotes on the About page. This is not disclosed anywhere.

Back in August I purchased a premium license for Launchbox because I wanted to support development. Recently I started getting errors upon launching Launchbox, so I looked at the About page to find out which version I had installed. To my surprise I found a bible quote on the bottom of the dialog. Yes, there is religious rhetoric plastered on the About page of a game launcher. No, I don't understand why either.

I am not religious. I'm not a fan of religions. While I support the right of others to follow a religion if they so choose, I try to avoid products from companies that advertise their beliefs and attach it to their advertising or products because it doesn't align with my principles. Though I can't say I understand the need for including a religious quote on the About page of a game launcher, I recognize that the author or authors are free to include it if they desire. But I would expect to be made aware of this before I hit the buy button. As nice as Launchbox is, if I had known about this beforehand I would not have purchased a license.

I asked Unbroken Software for a refund, which was denied due to me being past the first month. I guess that's on me for not thinking to check the About dialog of a games launcher for any religious rhetoric within the first month of purchase. My core issue was left unaddressed and they have yet to respond to my follow up.

The launcher is fine. The undisclosed bible quotes on the About dialog, to me, are not.

I love Launchbox. It neatly displays every game you own and supports emulation. Everything about the program is customizable. The Big Box themes are incredible. So glad I bought the lifetime license. If I had one suggestion. It would be a quick autoscan to check for new games. With scan parameters such as "installed only", "uninstalled" etc.

Me va muy bien, lo tengo la premium con actualizaciones gratuitas de por vida el que vale 75$ y estoy muy contento, me encanta para jugar a videojuegos emulados, Windows, etc.. es muy práctico así no tengo que estar buscando el emulador cada vez que quiero jugar a un videojuego, al final con el BIGBOX es como tener como una consola., lo recomiendo, si os haceis premium recordad que el archivo .xml para activar la Premium sólo esta durante 2 dias en el correo electrónico (email) y después se borra, cuando lo descargues guardala y enviate la por email o en mas sitios para que no se pierda, a malas si se pierde la clave te la pueden enviar por correo electrónico donde pone premium
