LCE first established itself in Bristol on Baldwin Street in the 1970s, becoming well known as a trusted dealer in new and used equipment. In 1993 a second LCE branch opened on The Horsefair, and in 2021 moved its Bristol shop to a new location on the picturesque Park Street. This newly refurbished store is regularly praised for its ample space for demonstrating products in a relaxed way as well as its modern, spacious look. We offer a wide range of services including 35mm developing and printing, sensor cleaning, camera repairs and tape transfers. The team at LCE Bristol Park Street have a broad variety of photographic experience and interest, including those who shoot rangefinder cameras (both digital and analogue), committed 35mm shooters as well as mirrorless camera enthusiasts.

Had a fault with a second hand camera…
Had a fault with a second hand camera after 6 weeks. I rang them on the Saturday and they arranged a pick for Monday. I spoke to Liam ( Bristol shop) on the Friday and he explained that the camera had gone to Leica to be fixed. I had decided that I was going to upgrade to a brand new Leica and Liam arranged for me to pay the extra and arranged delivery straight away. I was very impressed the way Liam handled the whole procedure

The purchase was smooth: despite the courier
The purchase was smooth, but the courier delivery was a shambles: PIN codes that arrived 4hrs after the delivery was attempted, multiple times. Euan was awesome on the phone, but was being lied to by the courier rep at every turn. Despite this, he kept me up-to-date and eventually the package was delivered - the bubblewrap had done it's job well as it had not been nicely handled by the courier.
Awesome service, great support and a perfectly working camera - more than made up for the worst courier experience I've ever had.
