Located in the historical city of Portsmouth since 2001. We have the pleasure of serving our customers in the busy Cascades Shopping Centre in Commercial Road. Whatever interest you might have in cameras, lenses, binoculars, telescopes or their associated accessories, we are here to help. We have a good range of astronomical telescopes in stock and also offer in-store sensor cleaning, firmware upgrades and image retrieval. We also enjoy dealing with your film camera needs, including a film processing service. With over 65 years' experience between our team of four staff, all of us have a passion for cameras, with a range of experiences of both photography and videography within them.

Purchased Lumix FZ48 camera. 5 ***** service!
Purchased Lumix FZ48 camera second from LCE Portsmouth, very pleased with both the help (made phone call before online purchase) and speed of delivery (received next day).
Camera was rated 4* however I give it 5*, looks brand new, no marks on camera, full working order, everything was included including a Lumix case. Excellent price and service, thank you LCE.

Great friendly staff who know their stuff 👍
I recently popped into the Portsmouth camera exchange to hunt for a new camera. Needed to upgrade my trusty canon 7d to assist with my photography course and portfolio shooting. Nick was on hand to assist me. He dealt with all my questions and the next day I purchased my new r6. I purchased via a link online and the camera was delivered a couple of days later 👍 great service and will be back again when it’s time to upgrade 🙌 thank you Nick

Second hand lens purchase
A good selection of lenses. I opted for a suitable lens with the highest condition rating. Portsmouth were helpful in answering my questions. I ordered online and have not been disappointed. The lens was delivered as promised and in excellent condition, it has been working hard for me over the last month or so and I am really pleased with the results. I feel it was really good value for the price paid.

I saw the camera in the store on The Strand in London, ordered online and it delivery was sorted by Portsmouth.
