Opening in the mid-sixty's we were London Camera Exchange’s fourth store to open and one of Southampton City Centre’s oldest in situ retail businesses. Located within Southampton’s 14th century old walls just up from our busy waterfront and internationally important port. We sell a wide range of new and used equipment from all of the leading brands. We offer expert unbiased advice on the best photographic equipment to fit your needs. Wildlife observation is also one of our passions, whether it be binoculars, scopes or remote trail cams.We can also buy your camera for cash or part exchange against purchases, bring your equipment in-store for a valuation, please note -ID required. With over fifty years of experience in the photographic trade our shop is staffed by a keen team with interests in photography, videography and birdwatching.

Reliable Company with Competitive Prices
Perfect service from ordering online (I did check with my local store, as I believe in supporting local where I can) it they said the product I wanted had to come online as they didn’t stock the item at my local store. From ordering my Sony camcorder battery to it arriving at home was less then 24 hours and it had free postage too. Highly recommended LCE

Cost of postage to Northern Ireland…
Cost of postage to Northern Ireland when all other camera shops in the Uk just charge you for posting only no surcharge. postage is around £3.00.

We’re sorry that a surcharge applies to deliveries to Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, this is a fee imposed by our couriers, and we actually subsidise part of this cost ourselves to keep it as low as possible for our customers.
You were in contact with us several times prior to placing your order, during which this was fully explained. We do hope that the significant savings on the item you purchased helped to offset the surcharge and that you still felt you received great value overall.
