Set in the beautiful historic city of Winchester, in the shadow of the cathedral our branch in The Square first opened its doors in the early 1960's. We sell a wide selection of both new and used photographic equipment, and also offer a comprehensive range of binoculars & telescopes. Part exchange is welcomed. Services: Passport Photos, Developing & Printing, Instant Prints, Video Transfers, Sensor Cleaning, Firmware Upgrades, Data Recovery, Repairs. Meet The Team: Tony, Manager - Clocking up 38 years for LCE, has a passion for binoculars & telescopes. Ben, Assistant Manager - Has been at LCE since 2011. A passionate about landscape photographer has recently taken up street photography. Josh - Joined LCE in 2015 and loves producing excellent still life images. Alfred – Has been with LCE since 2019 and has a keen interest in both wildlife & people photography, he also enjoys shooting on film. Craig - Our newest team member, joining in February 2023 with an avid interest in macro & wildlife photography.

Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service from Winchester branch. Ordered a camera online but due to errors caused by the original shipping company, which resulted in my order being returned to LCE, the branch shipped again but used a different carrier and the camera arrived without issue in time for my daughter's birthday. Thank you!
