Abusive Customer Service

I placed an order online with Lebody USA for the Lebody Opera Led mask, owned by GTG Wellness on Friday, August 13, 2021 and received an automatic email confirmation of my order and receipt. On August 15, 2021, Sunday, I received a call from Kmen Kang (I only found out his name later) to confirm my order because my billing address is different from my shipping address.

When I answered, the call, I received a rough mannered "hello" on the other end of the phone and followed by "i want to confirm your order." This person neither identified what company he was from,( the phone display was a phone number and no company name) nor his now name, not even first name, nor made any reference to the product name I'd just purchased for online for $700USD. So here I am receiving a call on a Sunday, from an un-named person, an un-named company and no reference to the actual product, asking me to disclose again, my billing and residential information to him over the phone. In addition, his manner was poor and not-courteous at all, what one would expect from a legitimate customer service.

Though highly apprehensive, I felt pressured to provide him my personal information, but politely let him know that any customer service agent, when phoning a customer, especially on a Sunday, should at least identify the company name on the call and some details, at least the name of the product I just ordered. He responded, reluctantly, not apologizing or excusing hinmself, but just chuckled seemingly under his breath,"yah, ok," he would, send me another email to confirm my order and then shipping info, 1st thing Monday morning and that emailing another order confirmation would not cause a delay in shipping the product as he would be emailing me the confirmation first thing Monday, for me to respond to.

I was not sent either the email confirmation order to respond to again nor the shipping confirmation, he'd promised to send me. It was now 11:50a.m., so I phoned Lebody USA. Again, Kmen Kang answered and this time with an even more 'abrupt" "HELLO." He again, did not answer with the company name, nor his name and sounded like I was just calling some angry random stranger.
I politely said that again, I'm now very wary of the company and customer service. This is the 2nd time that he answers the phone, in a highly unprofessional manner and tone, never ideitfying the company, nor himself and that he did not follow up as promised. He shouted that I just didn't hear him!
He immediately continued yelling, and escalated into a rant. He yelled, that he just got in (again, it is noon his time EST) to the office, then when I said it's nearly noon, he quickly changed it to and shouted, "well, I was in a meeting." I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with ( as he was making me very nervous the way he was communicating with me) and he responded it's only him, he is in charge and then the President who I can't speak with because she is in Korea and it's his wife, Kyunghee Kang. Then he shouted,"what's your problem, anyway?" He was so out of control, he continued escalating right up to cancelling my order, without me saying a word, and hung up on me.

I took a couple of minutes. I had done a month of research on LED products and was now feeling committed to this product. I really was excited to finally be placing this order, but not at all what I ever expected or have ever encountered. It was absolutely apalling to be treated in such an abusive and unapologetic, completely entitled manner, with no care to any potential consequences whatsoever. I took my courage and phoned him back. He immediately shouted "WHAT DO YOU WANT?". I told him I was recording the call in hopes of calming his conduct and he did semi-fine tune it. He acted as if he never said he was cancelling my order and hung up on me, but did repeat several times, taunting me unabashedly, "I'll send your highness email confirmation order, repeating "highness email, etc". I asked him "are you calling me your highness." And he in a bullying mocking passive aggressive tone, continued and said "yes," it was ridiculous and egregious the manner in which he abused me. I felt I had to just tolerate it, just to ensure he would ship my purchased order and was still unsure that he would or if he did, what state of product I would end up with. He said he'd be sending me the tracking info in five minutes. Two hours later, I did not receive it. I decided at that point to that it was not worth the risk of $700 and emailed that I decided to cancel my order after further consideration. Rather than send me a cancellation confirmation, he, instead, used my customer email contact info for his personal use and sent me 3 different consecutive menacing and taunting emails. I've yet to receive an email cancellation confirmation.
