Friendly, helpful and efficient service we bought a new sofa and X4 chairs at Leekes, Melksham, particularly Glenn and Kay, who took our order massive thank you both of you two. What a amazing people!

At the Melksham Branch we consulted Rony Alam to design an updated bathroom for us at home. He visited on 22 Apr and produced an excellent design that we agreed to and ordered. Work commenced on 15 June with DD Bathrooms, Rony kept in constant liaison with the fitters from DD Bathrooms and was happy to adjust design details to adapt to the 'practicalities' of the location. It was very reassuring to watch this close liaison and working relationship and we were very satisfied by the end result in the tight time scale because of other non moveable commitments. We would be very happy to consult with Rony again if the requirement arose again.

We placed an order for a dining table, six chairs and a sideboard in April 2026 after being advised that delivery would be approximately six weeks.
The table and chairs were delivered on 13 June, but unfortunately the table arrived damaged. Although the delivery team photographed the damage at the time, no action was taken until we contacted Customer Services ourselves. We then had to wait weeks for an update on a replacement.
The sideboard delivery was initially revised to mid-July before being pushed back again to September. At no stage were we proactively informed of this delay—we only received updates after repeatedly chasing Leekes ourselves.
We submitted a formal complaint outlining the damaged table, repeated delays, poor communication, and the lack of any attempt by Customer Services to explore alternative solutions. The response was extremely disappointing. Rather than acknowledging the poor customer experience, the response focused primarily on explaining that the delays were outside Leekes' control and that the original six-week timescale was only an estimate. While we appreciate that estimates can change, extending from an estimated six weeks to around twenty weeks represents a significant disparity.
The complaint response was signed only with a name and contained no job title or position within the company, leaving us unsure who had actually reviewed our complaint or whether they had the authority to resolve it.
We were also told that the damage to our brand-new table was “not detrimental to the functionality of the table.” Whilst the table may still have been usable, that completely misses the point. We purchased new furniture and expected it to arrive in perfect condition. We found this comment dismissive and not reflective of the level of customer care we expected.
Perhaps most frustratingly, Customer Services stated they were unable to source an alternative replacement or offer any other solution. However, after contacting the store directly ourselves, the sales team immediately offered us the showroom display model of the sideboard together with a discount—an option Customer Services had never explored or mentioned. This left us questioning whether our complaint had been properly investigated.
We accepted the display model on 4 July. However, after hearing nothing further, we had to chase again, only to be told that delivery is now expected on 3 August. Once again, there had been no proactive communication. We hope the replacement table is being delivered at the same time.
The delays themselves are disappointing, but what has made this experience so poor is the constant need to chase for updates, the lack of communication, and the feeling that resolving the issues has been left entirely to us.
We appreciate that supply chain delays can happen, but good customer service is judged by how a company responds when things go wrong. Sadly, our experience with Leekes has fallen well below the standard we expected, and we hope this review encourages them to improve both their communication and the way they handle customer complaints. The store’s sales team have been really helpful, but they have also been let down by the companies’ poor after sales customer care team. Unfortunately, due to this experience we would not purchase furniture from Leekes again or recommend them.

I have recently bought a lounge suite and yesterday two bedroom sets. In both cases the sale process was seamless and enjoyable. This can be attributed to Fahimeh ( and Nigel)who was patient with our decision making process giving us all the options on ranges, colours, add-on options, pricing and offers. The lounge suite was delivered early ( delivery personnel fantastic) and the bed sets are on the way! Well done Fahimeh and the Leekes team highly recommended

I have been a customer of Leekes in Llantrisant for circa 40 years. The selection available service provided has always been exemplary. When a new store opened in Cheltenham I was excited but would like to see a reassessment of the types of furniture stocked. It is weighted towards the older shopper and Leekes might consider looking at the styles displayed which might do more to draw in younger shoppers. Otherwise it’s great to see the service level has indeed been sustained. The store looks brilliant.

We recently had our en-suite bathroom installed by Leekes .Throughout the whole process, consultation, design and installation they were very professional and the work of a high standard. Rony who was responsible for the consultation and design was very patient, knowledgeable and understanding and efficiently produced a design that we were happy with. The chosen products were of high quality. Darren, the installer was very professional and personable working tirelessly and effectively producing an end result that we are very pleased with.

Leekes had lots of good quality goods in a very broad choice of departments. The guy in the aquarium was lovely to talk to about the Koi carp and we were able to feed them too. Cream teas in the restaurant were great. Jeremy was very helpful at the checkout when neither of us could find our Leekes loyalty card as he was able to track down the details in the system so that we still got a discount. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had 4 bathrooms refurbished.

Design: The design consultation process was very efficient and the consultant applied a lot of valuable experience to help us get the best design possible. The inventory was accurately specified

Products: Generally very good quality The Aqualisa digital shower is excellent. Utopia basin taps lack any aeration or filtering which is a little disappointing.

Installation by KCD Bathrooms was excellent. A great installation team who applied a lot of skill and experience to provide a beautiful finished installation. Also very considerate and accommodating to minimise the disruption which is inevitable when work is being done. Highly recommended

After sales service - very responsive and always put customer first

On 27th May 2026 Gordon Leat at Leekes Talbot Green helped me so much with choosing the right all singing all dancing chair. Yesterday I phoned and asked about floor protectors. Gordon explained about castor cups so I started looking for them online.
Within about half an hour Gordon phoned me back explaining that he had checked with another department and they had some in stock. Gordon kept the castors on his desk ready for me have a look. Today when I called at the store in Talbot Green Gordon met me and showed me on exactly the same chair, which size was perfect. My chair is being delivered on 25th July and I can now relax knowing everything is in place, instead of worrying if the castor cups would arrive in time, and if they would fit!
Throughout everything Gordon has been so very helpful, from giving me time while we discussed which chair is best for me, but not being pushy, to helping me today with taking care of my laminate floor!
Gordon has been friendly and professional with everything and is a great credit to the company.

We wanted to update our small down stairs toilet room but really had no idea where to start so we found ourselves at Leekes, Melksham, where they have a comprehensive display of all types of bathrooms, etc. Roni the designer gave us the initial outline of what was required from us which was basically details and dimensions of the room. Roni organised the fitter and what a player. Daran Dean turned up that day and did all the measuring, told us what would work and what wouldn't so we could get the best fit in a small room.
We went back to Leekes to see Roni and order all the fixtures and fittings, Roni was professional and helpful in choosing cabinets, taps, sink, etc. The stuff was delivered just in time for Daren to instal. Daren really was the business, very professional. He worked long hours and very hard ensuring that the finish was exceptional and we have a 'cloakroom' to be proud of!

With a major house move planned it was so helpful to head somewhere spacious and attractive to view living, dining and bedroom furniture all under one roof. Alex, the sales assistant was exceptionally helpful. Knowledgeable, attentive and thoroughly helpful - he literally came from department to department with us so we could do all the ordering and paperwork once at the end. We’ve bought plenty of other furniture from Leekes over the years and the quality is always reliable.

We ordered 2 sofas with Fahimeh at the Cheltenham store. Excellent advice and service.

It has been a pleasure to visit and shop at the Leekes,Cheltenham store recently. The staff are very courteous and helpful. We have purchased a wardrobe and ordered a second one due to the help and advice given us by the staff. I must pay a special thank you to Fahimeh, who patiently guided us through the ordering process and the 0%interest finance application.
We can also recommend the coffee and bacon rolloffer from the cafe! All in all a very pleasant shopping experience in this very hot weather!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing garden furniture from Leekes.

After placing my order, I received an email informing me that the colour I had originally selected was no longer available. I accepted this and chose an alternative colour, expecting to receive the same furniture design in a different colour.

When the furniture arrived, it was immediately obvious that the items delivered were not the furniture advertised or pictured on your website. I contacted customer services straight away, explaining that I had received the wrong product and stressing that this needed resolving urgently as I had purchased the furniture for a special birthday party I was hosting. I was assured the matter would be looked into as a priority.

Instead, I waited 11 days for a response. I was then told that Leekes had indeed made a mistake and that the furniture I had ordered was no longer available. To make matters worse, I was asked to take two very large boxes to a Post Office or return them to a store myself. This was an outrageous suggestion considering the error was entirely Leekes fault.

I refused and insisted the matter be escalated to a manager. The manager eventually agreed to arrange collection. However, I was then informed that the furniture shown on the website was actually a much more expensive range and had been mistakenly pictured against the cheaper item I had ordered. I was told that because it was an advertising error, I was not entitled to receive the furniture that had been advertised, despite that being the basis on which I made my purchase. Instead, I was offered a token discount, which I quite rightly refused.

This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. I wasted weeks trying to resolve an issue that should never have happened, all while preparing for an important family celebration. The lack of urgency, poor communication, and complete failure to take responsibility have been unacceptable.

Having since read other reviews describing very similar experiences, it appears this is not an isolated incident but a recurring problem. Customers should be able to trust that the product pictured is the product they are buying.

Leekes after-sales service and customer care have been appalling from start to finish. I would not recommend purchasing from this company and certainly won’t be shopping with them again.

Always enjoy a visit to Leekes Melksham and restaurant is worth a visit and then you finish off being served by Jeremy who always has a smile and time for a chat which is lovely and doesn’t happen enough in other stores, well done Jeremy
