Leisure Lakes Bikes - Nottingham Avis 

Excellent service from LL Nottingham. After having carried out various upgrades to my MTB I thought I had enough parts to get a frame and build a new bike so I did. Even after purchasing a suitable frame to match the parts, getting a custom bike built is comparatively complicated and expensive. Andy (Notts LL manager) was great from the start. He said it would be no problem to source the parts and build the bike which is more tricky than it sounds especially during covid where parts are difficult to get hold of. After a few weeks I dropped in my existing bike, the new frame and a box of parts…LL agreed to swap some old parts off my main bike and put on the new frame, with a view to upgrading my main full sus bike and at the same time creating a new hard tail. The team of Andy (manager) and Andy (mechanic) were great. They kept me updated throughout the build and ensured that the correct parts went on each bike. Whilst this may not be a complex process for a bike shop, they did exactly what I asked and made the process feel straight forward. The results are amazing….they were also very kind regarding Andy the mechanics time and cost. Could not be more impressed with LL as they went out of their way to provide great customer service. Really helpful staff, great bikes. I have bought two from there now. My favourite bike shop in the East Midlands by an East country mile.

Not my local bike shop but I always travel over to Leisure Lakes in Derby for servicing and repair because these guys know what they are about and I trust them to do the job properly. What I also like is the fact that they communicate so well with the customer so you know what stage they’re at with repairs/ orders etc.

Can't fault the guys ordered online for store pick up my address is Dorset(where I live) and arranged collection in derby (where I work) , they emailed to check there was no mistake on my order, all sorted collected quicker than originally quoted . Needed some extra bits from the shop and nothing was a problem will definitely always use them in the future.

Recently attended the Breaston store, I found the staff welcoming and knowledgeable. The ordering process online was simple and the bike was built and ready for collection the following day. No hard sell and cashback also paid promptly.

Got my purchase via click & collect as l live 10 minutes away from the Nottingham shop and this saved me paying postage and having to be home when it was delivered.
However click & collect from most place's nowadays is following day..... had to wait 9 days 😪

Ordered exposure sync lights online & collected in store. The lights don’t sync and when they finally do they soon forget each other but still as lights they’re really good and Leisure Lakes had these cheapest anywhere. Staff were friendly, would certainly use them again

Always excellent service online and in store. Couldn’t get the AXS Gear's to work when I fitted to wife’s bike. Shop worked out needed a diff mech hanger for sram, fitted it checked gears etc, no charge, brilliant.
