Great range, good prices and quick delivery

I managed to find a few remaining bottles of wines we had enjoyed recently whilst in South Africa and was able to put together a mixed case. Prices were good and delivery prompt. Karol-Ann even called to confirm a vintage change. I have yet to sample all the wines but I will certainly add Lekker Wines to my wine buying folder.

A wonderful discovery while in Rome at a fabulous restaurant, led us to the only UK merchant selling 'Poggio le Volpi' DONNALUCE 2023.
A case was hastily bought and delivered quickly and efficiently to us. How refreshing that Lekker Wines, not only have a great wine list, providing wine not commonly supplied in the UK, but also a simple, hassle-free, website and delivery systems all in place.

I’m a member of a great number of wine clubs but this is the first time I’ve had such great service. Not only is the wine fantastic (my daughter bought me some a while ago so I thought I’d try them again) but the service is personal and fantastic too! There was a concern, not of Lekker wines making, and a Lady there by the name of Karol-Ann could not have been more helpful and responsible. Massive congrats for a service that is rare nowadays.

First class service- package delivered in a timely manner and was securely packed in sturdy cardboard , reducing greatly the chances of breakages during transit. But more importantly than that, the wine itself, selected by the good people at Lekker, is delicious. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, you can trust them suggest some absolute bangers.

I first found Lekker Wines whilst ordering some Bodeaux through Vivino. I have subsequently ordered directly from Lekker as the selection,service, quality and price point is fantastic. They have some great wines, especially SA and Italian. I will continue to order from them again and again as they seem to have got everything right.

A Love Letter (or perhaps a Slightly Tipsy Ode) to Lekkar Wines

If Bacchus himself ran an online wine store, he’d probably shop at Lekkar Wines. From the very first order, you know you’re in safe, sophisticated hands. No over-the-top gimmicks, no empty promises—just an exquisitely curated selection of bottles that turn your average Tuesday into a Roman banquet.

Let’s talk about the delivery—Lekkar’s packaging is a fortress of genius. The bottles could probably survive a trebuchet launch, yet they arrive with all the elegance of a diplomat carrying a peace treaty (or in this case, an Italian Primitivo capable of making you weep with joy).

And oh, the wines! Each bottle feels like a secret handshake from a sommelier who actually gets you. The Poggio le Volpi Roma Edizione Limitata 2019 is the kind of wine that makes you question why you ever tolerated anything less than perfection. The Masca Del Tacco Lu Rappaio Primitivo Di Manduria 2022—so nice I ordered it twice—is a dark, velvety dream.

Lekkar doesn’t just sell wine. They orchestrate experiences, cultivate memories, and set an impossibly high standard for every other bottle in your collection. If you’re not shopping here, are you even drinking wine, or are you just sipping disappointment?

I bought a case as a gift and it was absolutely brilliant. Speedy delivery, great value, and most importantly had a fantastic selection of wine.

Always a five star service at Lekkerwines. Some great wines at very reasonable prices for the quality of wine received. Some fantastic offerings from all around the world but love the South African selection available and also very affordable Italian Proseccos and some fantastic hearty Italian reds.

I cannot rate them more highly, especially for the service provided by the owner, Karol-Ann.
We buy their Boschendal Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut at an amazing low price. It is absolutely fabulous! It is far superior to any Prosecco and on a par with some champagnes.
