Lensfayre Avis 

Lens Fayre did a great job scanning a batch of Kodachrome slides from the 70s-80s to digital for me. Turnaround within a week, which was not important, as I've waited almost 50 years. Now I have an digital archive of that work.

The staff here have been super friendly, have great knowledge about everything film related and developed my film rolls really well.

I went in to get a couple of rolls of film developed and my camera's viewer glass repaired.
I was advised that Lensfayre no longer repaired cameras. I had completely missed that on their website and hadn't seen that. Embarrassing. I must NOT skim read.
Thankfully, the lad serving said for me to contact Lensfayre via their online form and they'd send me the names of some reputable repairers.
I did that and was swiftly supplied with names and contact details.

With the films, I got one film. The other was blank. Lensfayre reimbursed me for that film, which was amazing. Also, they asked me to bring my camera in so that they could give it a once over and make sure it was good shape.
It was, but the weak link was me, and to remedy this Lensfayre showed me the correct way to load the film into my camera.
A humbling experience, but how nice. I was very happy with the service from Lensfayre.
The staff were just excellent, nice folk, looking to help you out. Brilliant.
The prints were excellent quality. My lad was very happy and I got a free lesson on how to load my camera.

Really friendly staff who were clearly passionate about film photography. They happily gave me advice and answered my questions as I’m brand new to film photography. Everything was done in a good time frame, the price is very decent compared to some other places friends of mine have used. As an independent I felt my job was dealt with genuine care and I’m really happy with how my pictures turned out. Looking forward to shooting again soon.
