Company contacted me and set the date and time of install. 7.30am
Adam and Ian arrived at 7am which is their usual start time.
There were problems with the access that should have been picked up by the survey. Which was fixed by an extra cost. Office wasn’t helpful.
The installers did a good job and left the site tidy on completion.

Arrived promptly, worked brilliantly as a team and cleared up beautifully.

I recently purchased a garage from lidget compton through a agent at chesterfield garage, and my opinion it is rubbish and reminds me of a building from the old allotments. The first team left it with the panels out of line and with gaps. and said it was the moldes. after sending picture and several phone call a second team came out had a look agreed it was a mess and came the next day and made a effort to correct the garage but it is still not good they filled the joints with silicone and stuct the spar in the silicone. The fist team had a folk lift which burst a hose and the oil went all over the pavement and th road.My advice is not to use this company.When I contacted Chesterfield garages they said it was nothing to do with them and to contact lidget direct seems like once they have their share of the money they pass the book.Do yourself a favour and keep away and buy from somewhere else

The men were extremely professional and worked hard all day, making a really good job. We were very pleasantly surprised at the speed they were able to put it up.

The 2 chaps Tony and Kai was very pleasant to talk to the garage looks great and they cleaned up after showed us how it all works and they turned up when they said they would.

Great job from Lidgett Compton, arrived on the proposed day, Chris & Craig soon got stuck in with the erection of my new Garage, by 1pm the job was complete, left everything clean and tidy.

We received poor customer service with lack of communication. We were having our old garage taken down one day and the new one put up the following day. (We had lots of items in the garage which we stored elsewhere for one night). We had to phone to ask what time the removal guys were coming and how they wanted payment as this was a separate company. The removal guys were great, but they had been given the job at the last minute and didn’t know what they were coming to. We couldn’t pay by cheque, as advised! On the day of the garage arriving, we phoned to ask what time it would be coming, as we hadn’t been informed, to be told it would be early afternoon. My husband had to leave at 1.45 to go to work so I had to take half a day off work. It arrived at 2pm, but was told it would only be delivered today and built the next day. They left everything all over the garden. I phoned the office, they were not bothered or apologetic that I’d had to take time off work or that they were not doing it that day. Their attitude was that the men had not got enough hours left on their driving limit. But they had been to a job in Bridlington that morning, so there was no way they were going to have time to do our job as well. Very poor planning and customer service, they knew this was going to happen. The person I spoke to on the phone told me to put it in writing as I wasn’t happy, which I did, but never received a response.

Everything went smoothly from purchase to arranging delivery and then the installation.
Given estimated delivery date when ordering then confirmed after letting them know the base was ready. Only 3 weeks from order to installation which could have been reduced had our concrete base already been prepared.
They were due at 9am on the day but when we reached the empty property they had started at 7am and it was already up and having it's finishing touches done.
Site was cleaned up when finished.
Can't fault the product or service received

Always chose Lidget Comptons Ltd. For our building good quality for years as they ticked all the boxes for us even more new design and specifications. prepared the concrete base - this was done by
their agent was arrange by Mike, assist by Paul lidget agents to came down to suvery design together.

Very very pleased with our Concrete shed (sectional), which was erected by Steve 1, Steve 2, Paul & were here on site early and got on with work in hand fast following health and safety and good house keeping, keep up the good work lads thank you.
