Excellent customer service
I had a fantastic experience ordering from this company.
After placing my order, I noticed the estimated delivery time was 2–3 weeks, and I was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time for a friend’s birthday. I emailed customer services, and Eve replied promptly, checked the shipment schedule, and even asked the warehouse team to make sure my order was dispatched as planned.
Although I was told to expect delivery on Monday or Tuesday via Royal Mail 48, I was delighted when it actually arrived on Saturday, much earlier than expected!
The trinket plate is awesome, and the customer service was exceptional. Thank you, Eve, for going the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from you again.

Diabolical !!
I purchased an item for a birthday present on the 19th July. Got a confirmation email back straight away saying would contact me when despatched but heard nothing since. I have rang this Company but just went to voicemail so left a message, I have emailed then and also sent a chat message. All of which I have heard NOTHING back. Cannot understand why after all the good reviews but for me absolutely diabolical !
UPDATE: After leaving another email and voicemail finally got back to me. They said hadn't received my earlier email or voicemail or my chat message on their site. Yeah right !
They said that the item had been very popular and had sold out and where waiting for more stock and had put mine on pre-order, without letting me know. As it was a present I've cancelled and asked for refund. Will never use this site again. Disgusting customer service !

I beg to disagree totally with your reply. I have screenshots of my call log x 2. Screenshot of my email x 2 and yes I hold my hand up and agree it was not a chat I left a message on but where it says on your site "contact us" there is a message box where you can leave a message, to which I did but no reply to that. For you to say that you acted promptly is the whole reason for my review because you absolutely didn't and it was a long time before you finally did. If you would like me to send proof of my phone calls, emails and message box I can certainly provide them as proof !!

We're sorry you're unhappy with your experience. However, there are several statements in your review that are simply not accurate, and we feel it's important to correct them.
The item you ordered was clearly advertised as a pre-order for December at the time of purchase. This delivery timeframe had been displayed for over four weeks before your order was placed and was not changed afterwards.
You also state that your emails, voicemails and website chat were ignored. We only ever received one voicemail, which we responded to in less than 24 hours. We did not receive the emails or additional voicemails referred to in your review. We should also clarify that we do not have a live chat function on our website, so it isn't possible for a website chat message to have been sent to us.
As our systems were operating normally, we asked you to provide screenshots so our IT team could investigate what may have happened, but these were never provided.
We appreciate that you were purchasing the item as a birthday gift and are sorry the advertised pre-order delivery timeframe was overlooked by yourself. The item was displayed as a best seller because of its popularity, not because it was available for immediate dispatch.
Once we spoke, we offered to swap your order for an alternative item that was in stock and could be dispatched straight away, or to provide a full refund. You chose a refund, which we processed immediately.
In light of the fact that we responded promptly, offered alternative resolutions, and issued a full refund immediately upon request, we do not believe this review accurately reflects the level of customer service provided.
We also note that, despite requesting on three separate occasions that you forward the screenshots of the emails you believe were sent so our IT team could investigate, these have still not been provided. We remain happy to review them if they exist. Unfortunately, we can only respond to communications that we actually receive.
It is disappointing that you have continued to update your review rather than respond to our emails. Your refund was processed immediately, we replied within 24 hours of the only voicemail we received, and we offered alternative solutions to avoid you having to find another gift. We therefore remain of the view that this review does not accurately reflect the service we provided.

I love the items at this online shop
I love the items at this online shop. Have bought the ring head, squirrel lamp and octopus book holder I just stopped buying as I haven't got many more places to put my golden animals. I wanted the 2 lizards but they were sold out sadly... would go above my bed. Love it !

I have shopped several times here now. Sometimes you have to wait for things to be in stock and it’s clear when ordering but it’s never too long. The quality is great, packing is good too as some things are fragile of course. Would recommend.

Utterly careless company
Edit #2: You already refunded it when I sent the proof originally. If you hadn't responded in such an unhinged way to my original review then I probably would have updated it to e.g. 3 stars because mistakes happen sometimes (although this was a particularly weird one). However, given that in your first reply you called me a liar and doubled down, I'm leaving it at one star because I don't want anyone else to have to deal with you.
And yes, I mentioned that it said three weeks on the website. That's still unusually long for something you're buying in 2026 though.
Edited to add: Hi, thanks for your inaccurate response. I have video evidence of the fact that it was sent in a normal envelope, with only a single sheet of bubble wrap, and no fragile labels. If you would like to see this, I would be happy to forward it to you. I would in any case recommend that you actually listen to your customers.
The delivery takes several weeks, even if you’re just ordering a plate. Fine.
But then the order arrived broken. Which would be ok because mistakes happen, but this was not a mistake but rather utter carelessness on the company’s part:
- a single thin sheet of bubble wrap
- just in a normal envelope, not even a padded one
- they didn’t even bother to write ‘fragile’ on the envelope
For a plate. Made of china. Smh

We would firstly like to clarify your comments regarding delivery. The trinket tray you ordered clearly stated a delivery timeframe of up to 3 weeks on the product page, and all orders were dispatched within that advertised timeframe. Whilst we appreciate this is longer than an in-stock item, it is not accurate to suggest there was an unexpected delay, as the lead time was communicated before purchase.
If your item genuinely arrived packaged differently to our standard dispatch method, we would absolutely like to investigate this. We quality-check our packaging processes carefully, and every trinket tray should be wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap, boxed, and then placed inside a padded mailing bag before leaving our warehouse.
However, despite now leaving two public reviews, you still haven't contacted us directly with your order details, photos or video. As a result, we remain unable to identify your order or investigate what has happened.
If you do have video evidence, please email it to hello@limitedabode.co.uk along with your order number. We'll review it immediately and, if your item has arrived damaged, we'll happily arrange either a replacement or a full refund.
It's disappointing that we've not been given the opportunity to resolve this privately before negative reviews were posted. We pride ourselves on resolving damaged-in-transit items quickly, but we can only do so once we're made aware of the order.
We look forward to hearing from you so we can get this resolved.
We also note that, despite stating publicly that you have video evidence, we have still not received any email from you with your order details, photographs or video. We have invited you to send this to us so we can investigate and, if appropriate, resolve the matter with either a replacement or refund.
It is disappointing that you have chosen to continue updating your review rather than contacting us directly, as this has prevented us from identifying your order or investigating the concerns you have raised. Our offer to review the evidence and resolve the matter remains open.

The customer service I received from Eve was amazing - she was so helpful in making sure my items arrived in time for Father's Day and keeping me updated on my order. The items arrived on time and they were really good quality - great experience.

My order was lost by the delivery company. Without any problem at all the situation was dealt with quickly and without any issues. As the items were still in stock my original order was replaced and sent out on a next day delivery. Great value, arrived promptly and as described
This is the second item I’ve bought and I love it. Arrived as described and it will definitely be a talking piece for my friend’s birthday. I’d live to know who comes up with the ideas of making a wee highland cow that can hold a bottle and a wine glass. It’s also a lot heavier and more substantial than I expected and I think very good value for money.
