Mac Simple Avis 14

Took in my iPhone 12 for a replacement battery, cost £69 (Stratford upon Avon). The phone then kept restarting every two minutes, making it unusable. They couldn't fix it, nor replace the original battery as I requested the next day. Left with a non-working phone with a non-apple battery. No apology, no refund.

I would give MORE STARS if I could. Tom at Mac Simple was absolutely brilliant. He helped me with some technical issues that I had been trying to wrangle with myself for a straight 7 hours, with no luck!

Tom saved the day and I am so thankful. Excellent customer service. Advised me to bring it back in if ever I need more help.

I would highly recommend Mac Simple to anyone. I want to give a big shout out to Kris. He helped revive an old iMAC that was not functioning. He also helped with 3 other devices. Kris' approach was that he would find a way to fix the issues and he did. Fantastic service from the moment of contact until my devices were in my hands. I can't recommend Mac Simple highly enough. The company's founder, Tom, is extremely knowledgable and friendly and doesn't make you feel as if you're a Mac dunce by using obscure words and phrases. I had an issue with severe lack of memory on my Macbook Pro. Tom diagnosed the problem immediately and booked me in for the next day when he downloaded all my data to an external hard drive, wiped the computer clean, installed a new operating system and put back all my information. It all worked like a dream; I have gained over 220GB of memory and the computer is running much better than before. The whole process fitted into a day (a 6 hour turnaround) and I consider the cost extremely reasonable. It's amazing to have a top class facility like this right in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. I would definitely recommend this excellent firm (and Tom) to anyone with an Apple problem.

Mac Simple are the ONLY place I would go for anything to do with Mac - your average Apple Store genius was selling mobile phones yesterday and tomorrow will be selling vapes - these guys are the real deal. We use the Stratford upon Avon shop, Tom and Sim live ‘Apple’ - they know more about the platform than the UK importers - can fix anything - and will give you options at different price points. The guy who was talking about ‘stripping old machines’ is ‘confused’ 🙄🤔🤣 - they strip old machines so people like me on a budget don’t have pay Apple’s greedy, over inflated prices for parts. Props to Tom and Sim, thank you for keeping our business on the road. 100% trustworthy, and 110% recommended 👌😎

I foolishly got water on my Macbook Air. Vishnu provided a prompt, courteous and professional repair. he replaced the screen at a fair price and my Macbook is now restored to its former glory. Vishnu is a very experienced Apple technical man. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for any problem, large or small.

I got my iPhone 12 Pro's screen and cameras replaced, Mac Simple offered a really quick and friendly service with no corners cut. The parts were genuine Apple and I've had no faults or glitches since I've been a customer- perfect.

Be very wary of a company they are buying items from honest sellers, stripping them of parts/damaging them, and returning them to get their money back. Be careful.

I cannot rate the service received highly enough. I have had to have my MacBook Pro screen replaced twice and have used the Cowley Rd, Mac Simple shop on both occasions. The service has been super efficient, helpful and friendly. Vishnu - who repaired my laptop - was just so nice, kept me fully informed and even kept the shop open late when he knew I was going to be late collecting my (very needed) computer.

Mac Simple have overhauled my desktops a couple of times with good results. I mistakenly factory reset my old iphone5, and they managed to retrieve my contacts and get the phone working again. They're knowledgeable & friendly & I'd recommend them highly.

Having felt ripped off in the past by Western Computers it was a delight to find this friendly efficient local service today. Thanks guys for sorting my iPhone out with zero fuss. Appreciated.

Had my iPhone SE repaired here. They replaced the front camera module and the screen. Unfortunately the replacement screen was a poor quality 3rd party product that did not work as well as the original screen (despite being told it was an original Apple screen). It was also slightly thinner so the home button was then proud of the screen which was annoying. Over the next six months the screen became more unstable and eventually started registering phantom presses making the phone unusable. I bought a new screen online and plucked up the courage to replace it myself and the phone is now as good as new. So in summary, whilst I was happy with the workmanship at Mac Simple, I cannot recommend the quality of the parts.
