I contacted the firm for some initial advice regarding a speeding matter and was able to speak to a solicitor very quickly. He was friendly, professional and took the time to explain my options and the potential costs involved.

I was looking at a toting up ban for speeding. I instructed Tom, who gave me good advice. I dealt with Olivia day to day, she was very professional. My case was based around exceptional hardship were I to be banned. We decided to plead guilty and make the exceptional hardship argument. Olivia guided me through what information to prepare and reviewed it along the way. Their communication ahead of the court appearance was good. On the day a very good barrister attended court. We won the case and I am still driving... MAJ are a good firm of solicitors. I highly recommend them, they got me a result on the day.

Very reassuring right from the start.

The solicitor phoned me very quickly to get the details of my case and explain the procedure. The whole process was efficient and thorough and I felt very supported throughout. I couldn't even get through to the court myself when trying to move my trial date but it was swiftly sorted by the paralegal team -special thanks to Jack Martin. The barrister we were allocated, Mia Pitts, was outstanding. She met me on the day and made a rapid summary of my case and represented me eloquently. Essentially salesmen. 'Selective scammers'. Let me evaluate.

Originally spoke to Thomas (they keep flagging my review, can't post the firsy name apparently) who has talked me through the entire process of fighting a drug driving offence.
From getting an expert report, through checking laboratory staff qualifications to court appearances. Cost was 5k plus VAT.

He told me all the right things. Also said 'ah, we've just won a case in Hereford' (this is where I reside). A line that was used a few times not just by Thomas.

Build a lot of hope in me and essentially sold me the 'product'.

Once I paid the initial 2,5k I received an invoice. Turns out the 5k plus VAT was only the 'case prep' and only included one court appearance. Everything else was an extra that Thomas slyly decived me about.

Once I paid 7,5k they did start offering discounts but with that the quality of the service was dropping noticeably.

I was assigned a junior solicitor, someone with least experience, not one the 'top dogs' Thomas was mentioning.

The 5k only covers their 'office work', everything else is an extra. 'External costs'.

The advice from the junior solicitor was all over the place and often unprofessional. Once they realised they can't squeeze anymore money out of me, going to prison suddenly started being mentioned in every email. Started pressuring me, pretty much trying to parr me off almost to Say they don't want to deal with it anymore. Bear in mind I have paid 9k at this point.

I'm sure there will be a lengthy reply addressing my points. This is what they do. Everything I said is 100% genuine and in line with other people experiences.

They're after your money and easy cases.

If your case is a little more complex and you don't have 15k laying around, don't bother.
But I wouldn't trust them with that kind of money.

Making a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman.

Avoid them. Genuinely.
